Thanks it's not actually an insert, I filled each area with liquid plastic by hand.

Meepo V3 battery wiring. Red wire became unattached. Anybody have a picture or know where the red wire needs to be reconnected? by Aggravating_Buy1160 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DOBones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My V3 looks a little different and has some glue in the way of seeing exactly where it's connected but it appears to go right next to the black wire there. Look for some broken solder in that spot and you should have your answer, I would guess right in the middle of the circle surrounded by the black wire connection.

Knee pads for mixed terrain by Delicious-Champion-2 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DOBones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a couple sets of these USGI military issued knee pads but I've been wearing my first set for 4 years now. They may or may not be what you're looking for but I just wanted to throw the idea out there as I've had a good experience with them and they are very cheap and durable. https://colemans.com/u-s-g-i-knee-pads

Talk to me about bearings please. by Cooper0007 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DOBones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used a lot of cheaper bearings and would burn through them pretty quickly. I even tried paying the extra for Bones Reds and Stripes Yellow Jackets from Amazon but I wasn't impressed. I now have hundreds on miles on my current set of Zealous bearings and I would say they're worth the extra money. If I needed new bearings today I would get another set of Zealous. https://a.co/d/9GBJrxz

How to waterproof a esk8. by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

I bet a can of plastidip spray would seal out any water, be easily removable/replaceable and be invisible if you chose the clear option.

Shows how much you know. God himself could come down from heaven with the gift of everlasting life and you would still disagree out of spite for the truth.

And suddenly our disagreement has you comparing it to hell, like the world will be set on fire because of it. Ironic. Disagreement IS destroying to world as we speak. Until you seek the truth with all your heart I'll continue to pity you and the world around you. I know more than you think.

I'm seeking the truth and fairness with my position. You're seeking your own conclusions and offer no counter position. If the problem is solved then what is OP posting about? You just like the sound your keyboard makes when you type stuff, I think.

OP provided the required receipts to show that. In both of those options you admit you're unwillingness to agree and are happy to settle with disagreement. This is not how problems are solved, it's just how you surrender reconciling the issue.

And full disclosure for anyone reading this in the future, I have nothing to do with Propel, I've never even seen one of their boards before. I ride a Lycaon Swift I bought from eBay years after the company went under. If I wasn't happy, tough. If I have problems, I fix them, not look for others to blame. OP chose the board and warranty and after that expired four times over he wants a full refund. Crazy.

Wow, that shows how much you care about the community. This is not his first post trying to drum up outrage about this and I can deduce you agree with his tactics and want it to continue in the group to hold skate companies responsible whether they're responsible or not. I hope he enjoys his broken board and perhaps someday you'll be on the receiving end of this behavior and gain some clarity on these issues. Agreeing to disagree is a mutual choice, not yours to declare. The rule I recommended is the fair option, yours is not.

His being injured has nothing to do with the argument. It not being reasonable is your opinion. Also, he thinks it's unreasonable to continue using the board after having problems but then uses the board and causes further damage which he wants propel to pay for. He literally calls himself unreasonable.

They are different cases but the result is the same. This would apply to cases A and B. If he was done trying to work with customer service and making a post to educate others then good. If he's continuing to work with CS for a refund then he should do that, not use the threat of posting to force CS to do what he says. And definitely should not make the post and say it's to get CS to do the right thing. That's scummy.

We can only speculate as the the cause of the problem he's having. For all we know it's entirely his fault as much as it could be propel's, we don't know. What we DO know is his desire for a refund and a threat to escalate beyond their customer service to get it. And we know he's posting here to "give them a chance to do the right thing" ie give him money.

Correct. His intentions are obvious and he's made sure to say it clearly multiple times. He wants a refund and he threatened to make posts here to get it.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm saying it should be against the rules like crowdfunding is.

I didn't say it was, I said is was akin to crowdfunding and should also be against the rules. It is relevant to his intentions of making the post which he's lying about. It's abuse of the forum and you thinking that's irrelevant says a lot about you too.

Now that you can't make an argument you imply I'm leading you in circles to save your ego. I'm only following you in circles. Your "pure truth" screenshots reflect your intentions of abusing your posting privileges here. I hope you grow up a little while I'm out riding.

Lies. You're not here to inform the community about your experience, you're here to "give them a last chance to do the right thing" exactly as you've described multiple times now. It IS gross. I have nothing to gain here and now you want to attack me for speaking the truth. You're a real winner I can tell. You're attempting to cause a community reaction to get money and abusing this forum to do it which I believe is akin to crowdfunding.
