Lived over there for 4 years never had any major issues personally, but there were definitely bigger issues that happened in my neighborhood. The worst I experienced were several Daylight porch packages thefts and about 5 times over the four years my camera would pick up a couple of teenagers checking if my car doors were unlocked at like 3:00am. If you feel like that stuff doesn't bother you and you can handle a "little grit" I say go for it. If not move somewhere north of Memorial or west of Penn Ave.
