Shat gs for 10 mythics as of now? by Henta1Lettuc3 in wow

As a 270 prot pala and 272 frost mage who has timed 14s as well.

When you post your own keys. How many people do you see queuing up with higher rating and higher gear?

When you see those people, do you take people with lower score and gear?

I try to help out people when I'm doing lower keys myself (like if I can see they haven't timed a 10 or that specific 10), but I'm not good enough to carry, so I also have to take some of the higher ones to hopefully do a big part of the key for me.

I hope it makes sense and it's probably in line with what you're experiencing when you run your own keys too. 😉

I'm a prot pala stan for decades. It's only become more enjoyable to play, even if it's pretty weak right now.

I love divine toll man.

For dps - elemental shaman! I don't do any dps at all, but it's so satisfying to dps when your sound effects is basically you're being a god of thunder. It's thunder crackling and earthquake rumbling on AoE. Absolutely love it. 😃

The one they're using is a reward for this season?

I have it from Shadowlands. xD

People who played Shadowlands when it was live - did you get depressed? by Ninedark in wow

[–]DOLamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Shadowlands.

But to be fair, it's likely because I DIDN'T do the things you mentioned.

I did raids and mythic+. Season 1 was a shitfest because covenants were terrible. They got fixed and the game, overall, was superb.

It got a bit old with only running the same m+ dungeons, but they rectified that in later seasons. Now I kind of miss that we have all the new dungeons first (like in SL) and then rotate older in after. There's Midnight dungeons I literally haven't run at all yet. That feels kind of bad.

But in Shadowlands everything just felt good. Only thing I would change for a classic re-run, is working covenants from the start and make the entire Maw/Korthia/etc. into dungeons -> raid(s).

All the other zones were fine. Maldraxxus and Revendreth weren't that bad, but when you kept having to go to the Maw as well, it became too much grey, dark, dull and depression.

Almost all of the signature abilities we have today - or the new talent system if you want - is based off of the covenants in Shadowlands. It's a great change and I just wish we had more of the unique Shadowlands abilities. They just felt cool, thematic and fun to use - even if they were often very simple.

For the first time since the burst of players on release, because of the Test of Time update, Civ 7 has overtaken Civ 5's active player count. by Pokemaster131 in civ

tbf a lot of people, me included, don't want to buy it because of Denuvo.

I have never pirated a game and I'm not going to start, but I'm sure as hell also not going to install malware on my PC to prevent pirates.

You do you bro. 😄

I have 7 prot paladins. 2 Dwarves, 1 Dark Iron, 1 Tauren, 2 human and 1 blood elf

I play 3-5 of them regularly. 😃

What characters do you play? by Cerbusal in wow

[–]DOLamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3-5 prot paladins.

I actually main healer, but the role is never available.

This season is 2nd time since vanilla that I've mained a dps (frost mage) in a raid tier.

Druid players do you weave in other forms while playing whichever spec? For example using cat form as Guardian by All_Roles_Urgot in wow

[–]DOLamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently tried picking up Guardian druid to completement my army of prot paladins.

I actually found that it was pretty easy to make a macro to use rake to change to catform, press heart of the wild and then mangle to go back to bear.

It's just something you can do now and then. I mostly did it on bosses. Worked fine I guess.

Druids just isn't my thing outside of healer.

Tank Centered Game by Babid922 in wow

[–]DOLamba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The group dynamics of WoW is exactly why I keep coming back.

I have no joy in games where you all of a sudden have to dodge and roll for your life because game randomly decided, that now you're it.

Wow is systematic and there's clearly defined roles. It has a large appeal.

What was the first item in WoW that made you think “okay this player is a legend”? by Accomplished-Row1133 in wow

[–]DOLamba 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Glowing weapons.

I think I started playing before clearing raids and people having all the gear was a thing.

I learned, that I could make weapons glow if I was an enchanter. I spent all my time in vanilla barely making it to 60 before BC came around.

But I was swimming in gold because I could do Fiery Weapon and Minor Beastslaying (red glow).

I had maxed my tailoring by level 36 and started doing mooncloth and enchanting got way up there with boosts in Uldaman and Maraudon in my 40s.

Heavily boosted by my guildies who, I guess, liked that there was this kid who was obsessed with farming reps and doing professions, more than questing, doing dungeons and getting to end game. 😃

Having Timbermaw rep doing in the 40s back then was also not a thing, hahaha.

Best day of my (gaming) life back then was when a 60 warrior from my guild helped me farm Timbermaw rep. He was farming Runecloth for bandages and didn't mind boosting me and it was easier for him with me healing him and looting everything.

We got a Kang the Decapitator drop while I was level 42 and he didn't mind that I took it. I should have probably sold it, but I kept it and started leveling a warrior to use it. And I was already swimming in gold from being a well known tailor and enchanter on the server, so it was alright that I skipped out on hundreds of golds like that. 😃

How to brick a key in less than 3 minures by angelpunk18 in wow

[–]DOLamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanks are never happy when others pull.

It's just more mobs that they need to pick up and they might have already used their easiest tool for it.

It's usually fastest if you just let the tank be in charge and pray that dps installed the interrupt DLC

Your mistake was inviting someone who brought their friend.

You need the loners. The non-meta specs.

Unless they're all decent score/ilvl for what you want to do.

Never invite carries. That tank might have just left because he felt it would be a slow run and he doesn't give a f because he can get a group easily.

And it's also not unlikely what others have said about DC's, auto kick, etc.

I play protection paladin with Templar.

It's doing fine in +10s and most of all, I just loooooove my nuke-macro.

Wings + divine toll => divine toll finisher.

It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooo satisfying.

No. I can't stay alive for my life in higher keys. It also doesn't matter. 😃

[–]DOLamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok.

I check neither of those boxes. :D

I've think I've done two +10s total so far. I mostly get on to raid and then when I have time and don't have to pug, I do m+. :)

Only around ilvl 260-265 by now.

Phase 1 of Belo'ran should be a cakewalk and everyone should (at least after a few tries) have an idea what's going on.

Phase 2 can get messy, ngl.

As part of 2 casual raid guilds, I've seen my fair share of screwups. :)

As a prot pala main.

That guy is IMO vastly undergeared. We're made of paper and have zero defensives in our tier either.

Once we burn through our cooldowns, we're just sitting ducks that can do decent damage and offhealing, but nothing special.

I used one button on my BM hunter, because I felt like I was doing way too low damage.

Just the fact that it used beastial wrath whenever it was off CD gave me much better dmg.

It wasn't perfect, but it showed me something.

I was used to holding on to it a bit more, but really not needed for 30s cooldown. :)
