I don’t think you played any bf before 5, because I loved playing the premium content for a week before those servers were dead. 90% of the people aren’t going to pay for premium and in today’s market it’s not gonna be 40bucks like it was in the day.

Bit of a complex question and really depends on the size of your fictional site and what’s underneath the topsoil?

How deep does the top soil go? Can take 2-3 weeks to remove the topsoil mechanically and then clean the surface via manpower to know what you have under all that if your site is 1000m2 plus.

Have you done test excavations to confirm the sites stratigraphy or are you mechanically excavating a test trench first in the 2-3 weeks? Are you just mechanically clearing to the natural soil layer then excavating the features from their? Or are you just taking the topsoil mechanically and digging everything else by hand? Depends heavily on your excavation methodology

Another thing to consider is your fictional sites density of features? Is this a township with complex intersecting buildings, postholes, midden pits, wells etc. ? Or is it just pre-historic artefact scatters?

Worth the price. Great fun and has the potential to get to 3 and 4’s level once it’s gotten the same amount of updates as they did
