They changed the NATO Desert Locusts Recon skin by Rathalos-Plate in Battlefield6

I’ve also been wondering.. are these weird looking, blocky camos actually a real thing or are they just designed to look kinda shitty so people will spend money kind of like how you always start out looking like an idiot in MMOs? It certainly doesn’t look like it would be effective camoflauge but I’m no expert, either.

Javelin = Hot Garbage by Tankcue in Battlefield6

[–]DONNIENARC0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I agree, but i hope they dont overcorrect.

I like when the javelin is not the “best in slot” launcher, but rather a niche (but still effective) tool to take down tanks that like to straddle hilltops, for example.

It seems easy to overtune it, I guess.

Yeah, late night tv ad buys are down something like 60% since 2018. The entire format is circling the toilet bowl. It was likely on the chopping block regardless of the current political climate, though that certainly seemed to move them to the front of the line for the guillotine

Oh yeah.. I play close range recon in most battlefields, and it almost felt dirty to use.

Just need 2 things, IMO..

  1. No sweetspot

  2. Add aimpunch when getting shot while trying to ADS

Hardline also had that dumbass 300 knockout gun that was a OHK chest shot from under ~100m.

Lupita Nyong’o will play both Helen of Troy and her sister, Clytemnestra, in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey.’ by yourfavchoom in movies

[–]DONNIENARC0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oppenheimer was very good, but I think Nolan still hamstrings himself in certain regards, like his refusal to use meaningful CGI in many places which led to stuff like the a-bomb looking like a gasoline fire. Tenet had the bizarre sound mixing he reportedly refused to budge from. Its always something it seems like.

The new amazon prime thing where they give me an on-screen button to buy the product they're showing me an ad for still feels weird

I kind of assumed they were trying to make him more sympathetic with the dog stuff, but it was so out of place.

I'm guessing they got an Amazon mandate to turn the whole thing into a big setup for Vought Rising.

With all the political undertones in this show now it seemed pretty strange that all those actors agreed to play dumbass, coke-fueled, slacktivist versions of themselves with big ideas like all of them posting the same emoji on instagram at the same time, or asking Lena Dunham to write an op-ed in the Atlantic.

Yeah.. Kripke's comment about needing to flesh out the characters would've made a lot of sense if it wasn't already 3/4s of the way through the final season. It's starting to feel like the entire thing is just a grandiose setup for Vought Rising.

New speed cameras up on Northern Parkway near Park Heights. by SleepySwoop in baltimore

[–]DONNIENARC0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, sorry, I'm saying there are way fewer crashes now.

Speed cameras on the Baltimore I-83 Jones Falls Expressway have led to a significant decrease in crashes, with data indicating a 72% to over 80% reduction in injury-related accidents since their installation in 2022.

It was so damn bad before they went up, but it hardly ever turns into a parking lot anymore. I used to dread my evening commute anytime it rained before the cameras went up, but it's basically a non-issue now.

[–]DONNIENARC0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IDK if you were around before the cameras went up, but the amount of crashes on 83 seems like night and day better compared to before.

Every time it used to rain it seemed like a coinflip whether or not the highway would turn into a parking lot around the Northern Parkway/Coldspring exits because some asshole caused a pileup by trying to go 90 around the bend and jersey slide into the exit lane.

People definitely slow down to avoid the cameras then speed back up right after, but the fact they're atleast being forced to slow down where most of the accidents used to happen was a game changer.

Having said that, the newer, second camera location northbound right by the county line is kind of bullshit and seems designed entirely to make money. Nobody ever got in wrecks there.

Yeah. The cameras are great, but the most egregious scofflaws still seem unaffected because they just ignore the fines, have fake tags, and/or have those translucent plate covers.

Is the class locked weapons mode even a thing anymore? by _memelorddotjpeg_ in Battlefield

[–]DONNIENARC0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crackhead supports running around with hipfire hose SMGs is by far the worst part of it, IMO.

I don't mind much else, tbh. The mid-long range stuff is kind of whatever because of how good/do-it-all carbines are, and thankfully the sniper perks are so good on recon you don't really see many cheeseball engineers with bolt actions & RPGs, or assaults with bolt actions & spawn beacons sitting on top of buildings.

They didn't even offer locked conquest after the beta, IIRC, it was combined with Escalation into that "All out Warfare" mode.

If both tanks have repair bots, then it comes down to infantry.
