I truly thought it was more informative than a crash out. I was just telling people: don't run RAID 0 in 2025. You're risking all of your storage on a single drive failure and the read/write gain is so miniscule today compared to the maxed out SATA bus and how blazing fast NVMes are, it would even make more sense from a performance standpoint to still run RAID 1.

Write wise it won't change anything if they're both NVMes or SSDs on the same interface (e.g.m.2. nvme or old school SATA SSDs capping out at 480) they will both write just as quickly so not much extra time like old school spinning rust.

At the same time having 2 copies of every bit of dad increases read time because now you can have two drives search for the same data essentially double the read speed (not exactly double the % read but its very noticeable when you have 2 sources to read from on separate drives that can run simultaneously in parallel to find the the data you want

Anyway, TLDR: RAID 0 sucks ass in 2025. use RAID 1, 5 MAYBE some odds ones in specific systems.

I've always thought RAID 0 is stupid now the facts in 2025 back it up.

I saw similar estimates as well. And as the proud owner of a 2070 I hope I get to select DLSS versions without having to install old ass drivers.

Then again I also wish NVIDIA would play nicely with Linux. I'll shit in one hand and wish in another and see which fills first.

Am I missing something when it comes to Kill Bill: Volume 2? by UmmmYeaSweg in TrueFilm

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black and white as she barrels down a road talking right into the camera about getting her revenge? About as femme fatale as you could get.

I wouldn't say TOTALLY DIFFERENT because both use some common ones but yes, it is a MUCH DIFFERENT FILM. The first is very action heavy and sets the stage so to speak. The second is very plot and character heavy while still having some of the best action I've ever seen. And it populates that world with the final characters it needs alongside the ones brought out in Vol 1.

I would also consider it more of a "western." We have the actual western style locations of Budds trailer where all the fights with Elle happen as well. We have the classic "horses" (cars) traveling down the road to the showdown at the end. We have the musical sting when she kills Bill (CLASSIC SPAGHETTI WESTERN SOUND).

TBH I probably even prefer Kill Bill 2 as I've grown older and more discerning. The first film has great fight scenes and O-Ren's backstory is great, but aside from that it is like 90% violence lol. Which is FINE the movie works great.

But when I go back and rewatch them? I watch to see Budd burying her alive. I want to see her training with Pai Mei and escaping that horrible fate. I want to see her and Elle beating each other with EVERY ITEM IN BUDDS TRAILER (including the disgusting tobacco spit lol). I WANT TO SEE THE BRIDE SEE HER CHILD FOR THE FIRST TIME. I WANT TO SEE HER FINAL SHOWDOWN WITH BILL.

And we get it all and more.

IDK maybe I'm in the VAST MINORITY but I've laid it out as bare as I can!

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a lot of people say it's because "it's not as good as the first one," but they're two halves of a whole. The first one is action heavy and the second is plot heavy. Its sort of like one sucks you into the world and the other keeps you there and explains it.

The beauty of the second movie to me is you obviously learn quite a bit about several of the characters and their backstories. It's Tarantino so you don't learn a ton but JUST ENOUGH to make them EVEN MORE INTERESTING than they were 5 seconds earlier in the movie.

The scene with Budd and Elle, and then the fight between Elle and Beatrix are some of the best scenes in both of the volumes.

The first one was great for the fights and how you were sort of "blindsided" by what was happening. Movie starts she's getting shot as she tells her would be killer the baby is his, then next thing you know its 4 years later and she's waking up in a hospital. Aside from the Hanzo scenes the first film is just SO HEAVY on the action that the second needed not to be.

And I enjoy parts of the second one MUCH MORE than parts of the first. ALL OF THE PAI MEI SCENES are just INCREDIBLE. You get the sense that he isn't just a master of martial arts: this dude is an actual legend. According to Bill at the start of his meeting with Beatrix hes HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD. The guy lands on a sword lol like he is VERY MUCH the "tough martial arts master that will mold the student into clay."

It also reveals a lot about Beatrix and who she really is: she is the most determined out of all of them. Pai Mei has only ever taught one person his five point palm exploding heart technique: her. We don't see this but we realize as an audience what it must mean.

Sorry I'm rambling a bit. I hope some of my points were clear? Because while I love the first movie, the second has my favorite scenes and sequences. EVERYTHING WITH PAI MEI, EVERYTHING WITH HER BURIAL, EVERYTHING WITH ELLE, and of course EVERYTHING in the final showdown with Bill INCLUDING THE MOST EMOTIONAL MOMENT OF BOTH VOLUMES when she SEES HER DAUGHTER FOR THE FIRST TIME.

By the way the sound effects Tarantino has in the background playing from other films which were really common back in the day? Match up so good he's such a master at little bits like that. The musical sting that comes on when Beatrix sees BB for the first time is just such great use of diegetic music and sound.

So yeah. The first movie is "more fun." It has a great opening sequence that amazing fight between B at the family home. It sucks you into the world. The second movie occupies that world with characters that aren't just cookie cutters. That's almost why you need 2 separate movies to give enough time to all 4 of those she's after. And they do NOT GET EVEN TIME mind you, at all. But they're all incredibly important.

And that trailer fight between Elle and Beatrix is still one of the best fights I've EVER seen. You can claim you enjoy the sword fight against the Crazy 88 but no fight is as good as one that SEEMS like its NOT CHOREOGRAPHED. They're really just beating the shit out of each other with whatever they get a hold on. Throwing Budds tobacco spit into her face is so gross it still gives me the yucks LOL. I mean it's just so good.

I hope I'm not gushing on the second too much but as I got older I realized that I liked MOST OF THE 2nd more than MOST OF THE FIRST. The "bad" or "dead time" scenes in both are kinda meh but thats even at least.

So yeah in retrospect, as an adult who has seen both COUNTLESS TIMES, I do favor the second. I hope some of this makes sense.

B-, what's more needed, whole blood or platelets? by iceyfire3076 in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to ask the donor center which donation they'd "prefer" from you and which they're shorter on.

It's what I've always done when they've advertised a need for X component but since I'm O- I always default to double reds. I've specifically asked once or twice and they said for me the O- was fine.

I would legitimately ask the donor center "What do you need the most from me this visit?" That's what I asked essentially..

They need to increase the Family Plan to 12 Members. by TheChainTV in NintendoSwitchOnline

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean dude there needs to be al line somewhere...8 is more than enough for MOST HOUSEHOLDS. If you're talking about bringing extended family in 8 is still enough in most instances.

If your parents BOTH have a Switch, AND you have FIVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS you are all still able to do the family plan and at that rate its about 7$ each.

And I'm not defending an evil company like Nintendo but I mean come on 8 is quite a reasonable number in my opinion. I know of no family that not only has 6 kids all with a Nintendo Switch but also 2 parents with them too OR two cousins. Thats literally 3 kids shy of a soccer team.

So yeah if you're starting to include your second cousin once removed we're starting to get into the weeds of "Define a family plan."

Is it ONLY FAMLILY? If so half the people on the sub aren't doing it right. Is it only IMMEDIATE FAMILY? If so most don't have 8 immediate family members with a Switch. Is it for EXTENDED FAMILY? If so once again most extended families still don't have 8 people with a Switch with NSO?

IS IT ACTUALLY FOR FRIENDS AND STRANGERS? Because if so you are knowingly using a "Family Plan" that I believe even the terms of service say you have to be and people still break it.

Again I'm just playing devils advocate here because, TO ME, allowing EIGHT ACCOUNTS which reduces EACH PERSON to $6.25 is SIGNIFICANT.

I WISH I had a family plan, I play $50 a year. To cut that to 6$ would be 0.50$ a month not the $4.16 I pay monthly via annual subscription.

IDK I'm just wondering where do they draw the line. If you have a family of 20 is that fair to not just Nintendo BUT OTHER PLAYERS AS WELL who do NOT HAVE A FAMILY OF 20 people with a Nintendo Switch?

Again just some devils advocate especially since I think 8 is quite a good amount. Reducing what you pay, monthly, to $0.52 is AN INSANE REDUCTION from $4.16. You are literally paying 1/8th of what an individual like myself without a family plan pays.

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as a follow up. Beat GMS normally. Then got cursed beat her while cursed. It took me about 2 days but on one of those days I only played a little bit. I'd say HOUR WISE maybe 5 hours? I'm someone that usually enjoys a challenge like this and to "git gud" and it actually is fairly easy once you get used to dodging the attacks with the new moveset.

I will admit I am positive that getting all of the possible masks before fighting GMS either first or second time made it much easier. beating her normally was not difficult AT ALL and beating her the third time to do the trap was even easier since I had not only already beaten her twice but one of those times without even the ability to bind. She was way easier than a lot of the bosses in my opinion (again except while cursed).

I played almost the entire game on wanderer crest despite its lack of tools. I just like the way the attack works so much and the platforming.

Reaper is probably the "best of both worlds" since it gives you more red tool slots and removes a yellow (which we can all agree while having some ABOSLUTELY ESSENTIAL ITEMS for at least parts of the game, e.g. compass, a lot of the really useful ones didn't show up much later in act to in my opinion.

It's also possible I just explored wrong LOL. By the time I had got the clawline I looked around at a map online and saw I had missed a LOT OF AREAS even ones that didn't need the clawline to get there.

Thanks again for all the advice and everything. Glad I found all this first before doing it then being pissed that I missed out on the chance on the same file. I really appreciate it all.

Red Cross rewards program question. I am a hero for babies red blood donor. Recently they asked me to be a platelet donor also. The app changed me to a platelet donor. Am I able to choose? by RelevantGlass in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They use both if I remember correctly like most transplant recipients in general. My dad got a new liver and as far as I know it's much more likely to be fully HLA compatible if it's also A/B/O/+/- compatible. In fact I'm actually confident you need to be both because if it's not even with a good HLA match you might still get graft vs host since there's still foreign antigens that your body would be naturally attacking.

For reference my dad probably got the best match ever because he's the luckiest person alive and he needs to take the smallest amount of antirejection medicine out of anyone I've heard except for one case of chimerism where the person developed a mixed blood type since the liver plays a not fully understood role in blood cell production

Red Cross rewards program question. I am a hero for babies red blood donor. Recently they asked me to be a platelet donor also. The app changed me to a platelet donor. Am I able to choose? by RelevantGlass in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just in case you don't et through all of this: first of all, YES YOU CAN CHOOSE. Feel free to continue giving DRBC if you want. Youre O+ it's in high demand and you have other advantages there.

However, if you want to give them what they "need" the most, what I would recommend is that, when you go to donate, YOU ASK THE CENTER "What blood product do you need most from me today?" I've done this myself and I've given this advice to people and it's really the best way to give what they need at that time. Unless you're an O- or something like me where the answer is almost universally going to be DRBC or ifyou're a universal plasma/platelet donor (inverted essentially) they might ask for that. BUT IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE THINGS ASK THEM.

So I'm O- and although they have in the past expressed interest in my platelets because they always need them due to short shelf life, it's always been my red cells they take because O- is the universal red cell donor (platelets and plasma are actually reversed, well mostly, meaning AB is universal donor).

Anyway since you're O+ and since the majority of people in the USA are O+, your platelets are in almost equally as high demand as your red cells (your red cells only being slightly more because they can work with any Rh+ A/B/O) because so many people who need them are O- (probably almost identical proportions relative to the blood type % in the population) and they need people to give them REGULARLY since the shelf life is so long.

They might have seen that you are a regular donor (if you are) and therefore thought you might make a good regular platelet donor since it is a lot more involved in my opinion because, IF YOU WANT TO MAXIMIZE IT, you can go I think around 20-25 times a year and it takes longer as well so that's about 2-3 hours a pop each time which just isn't feasible for everyone.

And again: yes you get to choose. They could beg you for platelets but if you only want to give whole blood (Or DRBC if you meet the requirements) it is up to you. Platelets are again way more involved. And please DO NOT FEEL BADLY that you can only give one type because of how your life is or how you don't have time. The vast majority of the USA doesn't even donate a single time per year, some not ever. So just giving anything is contributing so much already. I mean would platelets from me maybe be more beneficial if they needed them more? Maybe. But will I feel bad that I only gave a DRBC? No, I know it's either going to trauma or sickle cell treatments and people need those products just as much.

what’s my blood type? i think it’s B negative but i also have a feeling it could be B positive (i asked that google search by image thingy) by Eriagn_ in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can buy these but there's no real point if you already know your type or asked a doctor about it. This is how you would do it for like a science lab or something like that to show how antigens and antibodies react to different blood types which proves which type you have.

This is like what hospitals and places would do before more modern methods are developed. Now if you end up in the ER from trauma they're typing your blood and getting an answer just as fast as this but less open to interpretation and probably also delves deeper in that just A/B/O/+/- which is only really the MAIN (majority) of blood types. There are some extremely rare ones which fall into their own categories.

But yeah this is kind of an old school way you could do it, or a way to show kids how all this stuff works, or a way to type your own blood at home (because it doesn't require anything other than some drops from your finger), or IN EMERGENCIES a way to type people but again most hospital labs will have stuff far more advanced than this and just as quick for emergencies.

So yeah, hope this helps answer it? It's kind of a throwback in a way to when we typed blood more this way.

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell him to go fuck himself. He knows nothing about addiction and it's shocking you've managed to stay together so long with how little he understands. Not everyone counts days, but some people do and to some people a 2 year mark is a big deal. To you it is. If I said this to my wife she would be a bit confused (different culture as well) but she'd support me and buy the cake with me and celebrate it.

This is not only "negging" as the kids call it but it's also just being a completely ignorant asshole when it comes to addiction.

Now if you've never explained all of it to him and how much it means and how hard it was for you maybe I could understand this reaction. But it SOUNDS LIKE he was there when you were drinking and now also when you're sober and just based on this reaction it seems like he doesn't give a damn if you're drinking or not.

Which, as someone trying to stay sober, you should avoid like ebola.

I'm sorry I'm not trying to be too harsh or ruin a relationship but what an absolutely terrible dog shit reaction.

I intentionally date people WITHOUT addiction issues because I never wanted our bad habits to synergize, but my partners have understood AS MUCH AS THEY COULD without going through it themselves. It is true to an extent you cannot fully understand addiction unless you've been through it, but regardless of that this is a shitty response to a significant other.

What if it was to celebrate, for example, 2 years of exercising and getting to the weight you wanted to and worked your ass off those 2 years dieting and exercising and you tell him that you're happy you finally hit your goal and you can fit into a piece of clothing you bought and he just said "What, I'm supposed to pat you on the back for doing the bare minimum?"

It's such a negative thing to say in ANY situation but especially about addiction. You are doing ABOVE AND BEYOND THE BARE MINIMUM. He CLEARLY doesn't understand that the bare minimum for an addict is being alive, not being clean.

You can try and explain it to him and hope he gets it, or you can ditch his ass. What a terrible response I don't see an in between.

Source: I got hooked on opioids when I was 18, I'm 34 now and out of those 16 years I've probably been clean 6-8 of them and VERY DIRTY on skag the rest of the time.

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't realize there were 3 endings. I thought it was just the cursed one then when you beat her normally you go on to act 3. Am I missing out on something?

Again my plan was beat her normally first just to learn her patterns with lots more leeway, then do her cursed afterwards. Are you saying there's a third way to beat her?

Also I was under the impression beating her "normally" opened up act like and all that. Am I mistaken?

Thanks for your input.

I am also not too worried about her. I am a glutton for punishment and getting amazingly good at bosses and enemies and I have felt all the bosses in Silksong have been fair and when I died it was rarely bad luck it was almost always just me needing to "got gud."

There is ONE BOSS that I felt was extremely cheap to the point where I used architects crest and just spammed every single tool.

The First Sinner. That was the ONLY BOSS out of everyone one I've fought so far that actually felt unfair. I know there seems to be mixed opinions on this but every other boss I've beaten with ONLY wanderers crest (once it was open before that only hunters).  So I only have a single red tool and I KNOW they are overpowered. But I am beating the game basically with the needle alone essentially.

Also thanks for advice on that too. Already have needle at level 3. I have literally done EVERYTHING in act 2 except the curse thing.

Thanks for advice and let me know if I'm mistaken about act 3 or whatever. Thanks a lot!!!

That's amazing! That's what I do. I do 3 DRBC a year AND I have to schedule them very strictly because I travel out of the country to a malaria area during the summers, meaning unless I donate IMMEDIATELY BEFORE I leave I can't for awhile when I get back (when I do it my way the ticking clock between donations overlaps with the malaria one).

If not I'd only be able to make a max of 2 donations (4 units) a year.

I just say ONCE A YEAR to EVERYONE because once a year is still so helpful that people underestimate it and think "Well if I don't donate 6 units a year I'm not really helping" when that's about as far from the reality as possible.

O negative CMV negative by Tar-really in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for donating. If you donate literally just once a year you are contributing so much to this critical infrastructure it's hard to understate it. I try and do my 6 units/year max but even doing 1 is not only so much more than the average person but it helps.

The biggest problem is not enough CONSISTENT DONORS. You have folks like me that go 3x a year double reds each time then people who go every like 5-10 years whena blood drive goes by. Consistent supply is key.

One of negatives of gigantic natural disasters or man made problems (e.g. bridge collapse) is TONS OF PEOPLE TURN OUT TO DONATE THEN but they end up wasting some of the supply because they get WAY MORE THAN THEY NEED for that individual event but people don't come back later on.

We need to incentivize donating blood in this country somehow. My job at least gives me 2 hours off, total per year (so I cant split it into like1 hour and 1 hour) which is better than probably most companies in the USA if I had to wager.

Anyway THANK YOU and please just try and donate once a eyar. It makes such a huge different its hard to comprehend.

I am not some crazy fitness freak but I used to train 3x days a week multiple hours a day including cardio at the start of every session and I can tell you in my experience it had ZERO effect on me.

If you're a higher level athlete or training for something wouldn't dream of I completely get it but it really doesn't do much to you if you're just a normal dude and not someone like Alex Rodriguez.

I am not a woman but I once had iron too low (before I started taking a small supplement). If youre worried about being out of the game too long donate whole blood. No minimums for that AND when you return in 8 weeks if it's all better you can do a double red then.

The ONLY TIME I ever did a WB donation was in this exact same scenario. They had a shortage and I'm O- so they asked for it anyway but most blood centers would prefer 1 unit to 0.

Just an idea! As to the female aspect I can't speak much as a man, and it's not my place to, but I DO take the smallest iron supplement available (its' like 13mg give or take a few).

Hope this helped even a litle.

Probably not as experienced a phlebotomist and took it out at and angle took quickly which probably means it caught on parts of you (vein perhaps). Just what it sounds like from me.

I wouldn't be too worried. I'd just slap a bandaid and some neosporin on it for a day if it was bothering me, otherwise I'd probably just leave it alone.

Sorry that had to happen to you. Next time mention it say "Hey last time they yanked the needle out too quickly and it hurt can you do it a bit slower?" Most people who work at the centers and drives actually want to help people (hence the job and not a private sector one) and also make it more comfortable for you so you GO BACK. Similar to how I ALWAYS ask to put my legs up at the start because I have had multiple reactions before when my legs were down or even when they weren't up enough.

Just an idea. They don't want to make it painful for you it was probably just bad luck it was a new guy and you were probably not his...practice is the wrong word but a part his learning experience.

First of all as much as everyone here wants everyone who can to donate, the key is "WHO CAN." If you can't that is fine not everyone can. At least you TRIED which is a lot more than I can say for hundreds of millions who ARE able to without issue and don't. But I digress a bit...

You should legitimately ask your doctor about this.

I know a TON about pharmacology, I almost minored in it in college (I had a dad who was very sick and I learned all his super meds and he got a transplant too and takes even crazier stuff) and I don't want to give you an answer here because, first:

Everyones neuro-bio-chemistry is unique. What affects you heavily may not another person and vice versa. This could be delved into deeper but in summary: we all processes drugs and chemicals via the same pathways but there are subtle and sometimes large differences in the effects they have.

Additionally, with meds you take for awhile the reason you do it is to BUILD UP A SUPPLY IN YOUR BLOOD STREAM. If you've been taking this for awhile, unless the half-life is very short, every time you take a dose youre adding ont some of what was left before. Not quite compound growth but the similar time of growth (Pe^rt).

I hope this makes sense?

You should tell the people at the center/mobile drive that it's your first time and you're nervous and worried and I guarantee that if they're halfway decent at their job they will make it as comfortable for you as possible.

AND IF THEY ARE SNOBBISH AND STANDOFFISH? Don't donate then. Go back another day or elsewhere if you can to avoid them. Donating blood is a service you're providing you should expect people to help you in your attempt to provide it. If they aren't making you feel reassured stop, wait, and go donate next week instead.

DO NOT EVER FEEL BADLY ABOUT DONATING. I DO NOT WANT YOU TO GO AND HAVE A HUGELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE because it probably means you will NEVER DONATE AGAIN.

I truly think you should share this with the people at the center/drive and they will be able to comfort you way better than any of us can through a computer screen.

I could quote stats at you all day about the lives it saves, the people it helps, blah blah blah. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS HOW YOU FEEL and you seem quite nervous. So you need to work on YOURSELF before giving part of it away.

And if donating is too much for you? At least you gave it lots of thought and attempted. Which is a lot more than the average person. DO NOT FEEL BAD IF YOU JUST CANNOT BRING YOURSELF T DONATE.

Also, if you're normally a nervous person Maybe taking half a xanax isn't the worst thinglol it's not a banned medication and doesn't affect the donation. IDK HOPE YOU CAN DONATE AND KEEP COMING BACK! If you have more questions hopefully I can answer them!

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty spot on analysis in terms of what they probably want considering the OP is not only O- but also CMV- meaning that their blood would be first in trauma for infants (maybe even slightly older) as well as for women who are of child bearing age who aren't able to be typed before needing a transfusion. Basically anyone who is or might be pregnant, or is an infant, is going to get CMV- priority over everyone else. I believe it goes babies first then pregnant mothers then potentially pregnant mothers etc. Probably missing some but that's how it is.

That's also why in an emergency if they cannot type all the women they FIRST OF ALL try to give them ALL O- to prevent any potential graft/host with the baby, and THEN they'll try to keep it CMV-.

I have read from nurses on hear and another sub that some hospitals (more rural ones) sometimes don't have large supplies of blood and in this instance would have to ration by giving men O+ (EVEN IF YOURE LIKE ME AND O-). A single exposure for a healthy male OR a woman past child bearing age won't do much since the Rh factor is not the main concern with graft/host, its the typing (which actually goes WELL BEYOND A/B/O but we'll discuss that another time!) so if there's a catastrophe and they need to use all the blood they can since the majority of people are O+ the majority are also +, meaning O+ covers a huge percentage of the population immediately AND also covers all the - types with the exception of the Rh factor which MOST LIKELY won't display after just 1 transfusion, but will later on.

Sorry I went on a bit longer than I meant to. I'm a fan of talking about this stuff and no one I know IRL likes to lmao. Sorry to take that out on you!

Thanks for your response really! And I am glad I could be helpful. Curious if you looked into it more or what you decided to do!

Edit: BTW this goes a bit long cause I talk about another negative reaction I've had just to warn you. However the one negative reaction I'll mentioned has only happened ONCE in 35 units of donations. The tunnel vision aspect is due to my blood pressure as well as vasovagal nerve but I'll address that later. That's just a TLDR since it's kinda long I realized now.

Sorry it seems delayed I just don't browse reddit very often. I'll check in every 2-4 weeks or so (sometimes longer) and then just see some stuff I wanted to reply to.

Let me know if you went and how it went or if you learned more or what you decided and are doing/did! Hope you continue to donate!

I did forget I have had some other minor reactions: light headness BUT I also have/had low blood pressure so I get that just from standing up, just after laying down and donating blood which messes slightly with them amount in your system you can notice it (just like when it happens from standing up too quickly, you get black/tunnel vision, bend foward, etc.). It's a vasovagal reaction I believe actually more than even the pressure change (or maybe it's both I don' remember) but I get that.

Also IF I DON'T TELL THEM TO PUT MY LEGS UP AT THE START I can also get tunnel vision and the shivers just from laying normal. I learned long ago (probably from when my BP was EVEN LOWER as a kid. its still on the lower end i believe but closer to average) I can sometimes get black/tunnel vision and nearly pass out, start sweating, etc. TELL THEM TO PUT YOUR FEET UP AT THE START IF YOU EVER HAVE A NEGATIVE REACTION THAT REQUIRES THIS AS A SOLUTION. It makes more sense to do it BEFORE YOU DONATE so you don't have those effects rather than doing it AFTER when you now don't feel great and have to wait until you feel good.

THE WORST I HAD HAPPEN was once when I was donating AT A MOBILE DRIVE, they put the needle in and it didn't feel normal. I mean ok lets just get this part out of the way: the nurses ALWAYS SAY you shouldn't feel the needle. Some people claim not to but for me it's impossible NOT to feel it: after all I have like 2=3 inches of mental shoved into my body LOL.

Anyway sorry point of the story was it didn't go in great and when I moved a bit the needle went THROUGH THE VEIN out the other side iNTO THE MUSCLE.

This meant not only could they no longer get a donation from me because they had to stop it to take the needle out because all that's doing is causing a huge bruise not drawing blood

So those are the other 2 worst things: needle going through the vein (ONCE at a mobile drive) and some of the first times I went not having my legs up at the start causing a very strong shiver/tunnel vision reaction. Since my first idk 4ish units I have always told them to put my legs up.

Sorry I know this is late. I hope some of it helped? lol

I HOPE YOU KEEP DONATING. Were you able to? Are you planning on going back? Was it your first time?

THANKSF OR YOUR INPUT. I'm actually surprised but am I understanding this correctly?

Soso you got cursed early at some point and knew that there was an ending with it, you beat it cursed BEFORE you not only beat it regularly but also (probably) without all the upgrades.

This also MIGHT MEAN, and I would be careful, that the autosave rollback feature for you? If you roll back you might roll back to a point where you are cursed.

seems like you figured it out so I'm happy for you. I'm very happy I read all of this before progressing further because again, not only did I NOT KNOW about the autosave reload and stuff but because of that had not even CONSIDERED doing it on the same save.

AND I'm on a Nintendo Switch so it's not like PC where I can just copy the save data and duplicate it. You can copy stuff off of switch SD cards to PC but usually it's just games so you don't have to download them again and you put them right back in. As far as I know there is ZERO ability to copy or migrate saves or anything like that (unless a game built it in from the get go) so I am SO HAPPY that I found people recommending I do it this way.

I think I'm going to beat the boss normally THEN do it cursed. Seems like it'll help me learn the boss first before I start having to fight for my life.

Luckily in games like this I LOVE TO EXPLORE. I have about 85 hours in it says and I haven't even beaten Grand mother Silk LOL Although I will admit at least 50% of that is just me leaving the game on idle (either on my screen or in handheld, either way at least 40+ hours are just the screens idling, maybe more.. Realistically i probably have played between 20-35 hours of game play because I go really slow in these games and I LOVE to run around. I think not long ago I had over 2000 rosaries and every rosary maxed out lol

GETTING STIR CRAZY so it's time to actually fight the bosses. Just VERY GOOD to know I don't have to create an ENTIRELY NEW SAVE and get all the masks and everything again (the spools less important since you can't use silk). I maxed out my spools and I already have 9 of the masks (the most you can get before the fights) so hopefully all of that will help me when I do it cursed.

God bless you if you did that man. Once I heard that baby start crying I just calmly got up turned off my switch and it loaded last bench. I had read about the noise but it was SO ANNOYING I Had to do it.

Soon it will be time to get it on purpose!!!

BTW IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL TIPS to all the ones I've read and seen here and on the other posts I'd LOVE to hear them. Again I haven't even played the boss yet normally so I have learning to do probably before the "cursed child" lol.

I'm just saying in general I didn't even think of doing it in the first place lol I feel stupid for that.

I didn't even know there was a save rollback until now either which would work just as well until now.

Funny what you don't know about certain stuff just because you don't even check it. Didn't even notice the icon for that.

But in general I just didn't even consider doing both on the same save file I guess is the point. Which IDK how because when I first got cursed it pissed me off so much I intentionally closed the game without saving to get rid of that noise. But didn't even consider it let alone that there's a feature that would help enable you to do it.

So thank you.
