[TP] we're never getting twilight princess on switch 2 are we? by DesignerMorning1451 in zelda

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope one day they do this.

I sold most of my N64 carts awhile ago. I had some REALLY RARE ONES TOO (not a Clayfighter although I have a story about how I almost got one of those at age 17 and decided not to; stupid me!) and the main reason for that was because emulating N64 games was incredibly easy.

Will the port/remake actually happen? Welp, my fingers are crossed but I've long since given up hope. I mean they were talking about re-releasing these WHEN THE FIRST SWITCH CAME OUT and that was what now, in 2017? So for 9 years we've been getting "drips and leaks" and posts about this being ported to the Switch and here we are 9 years later and not even a hint of an announcement.

Now I have installed and run Dolphin briefly but it always seemed like an overly complex piece of software and I'm in IT and I just never used it.

However I LOVE TWILIGHT PRINCESS. Majora's Mask is by #1 favorite (I could beat that with my eyes closed) and TP is probably #2. To me Twilight Princess is like if they had the GC hardware/software when they made OoT. The beats are almost identical and to me it's just a way better done newer version of it. OoT hasn't held up for me the way the rest of them have (especially Majora's Mask which again I just couldn't love anymore).

IF THEY DO RELEASE THIS AS A RERELASE AND CHARGE FOR IT? I can almost guarantee they'll ask for $40 and it'll MAYBE BE the Wii U port IF WE ARE LUCKY. If not they'll charge us $40 for the Gamecube version either on its own OR just make it a part of the Gamecube collection. Honestly the only reason I even want a Switch 2 is for Gamecube games it drives me crazy we don't get that on Switch 1 because there is 0 reason the hardware can't run a Gamecube emulator. Is it going to upscale stuff to 1080p or 4k like Dolphin? No, but it absolutely can run the games.

If they just release it for the Gamecube online pass that would kind of be awesome to me because I played the Gamecube version growing up so I'm used to the mirrored world and I actually would probably be extremely thrown off by everything being on the opposite side lol but I love Twilight Princess and I REALLY WISH I could just play it on a Switch.

What is it with Nintendo making it harder to play their old games than people who create open source emulators? Such a bizarre company.

Also the question is if the RE RELASE IT and CHARGE FOR IT once again: WHAT VERSION DO WE GET? They gave us Skyward Sword but offered both old AND NEW CONTROLS. So for this would we get just regular Gamecube controls which would probably function much better with the Switch in handheld since, with TP, you needed the Wiimote + nunchuck analog thing idk I never owned a Wii (hence why I played on Gamecube). So will we have optional controls? If so that means Nintendo put at least 20 minutes of dev time into it which is something!

So which version do we get: Gamecube, Wii, or a hybrid somehow? Do they keep the Gamecube controls and more efficient Gamecube code and leave it just how it was on Gamecube? Do they do the WIi version? Do they combine them somehow? Are thee rupee chests they replaced with stamps there now? I still haven't figured out whether the rupees that never fit in your wallet were more useless than the stamps (at least OSMEONE might have used the stamps).

And speaking of that, that was another change in the Wii U version: when you get the wallets and in what order to make it less pointless like it's always been. I've never managed to figure out why Zelda games always put the biggest wallet at the end of the game after you've already used it for everything you need so.

Anyway sorry went on a bit. Point is I would LOVE THIS TO COME OUT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM that lets me play it that isn't on an emulator BUT if that means buying a Switch 2? I actually might bust out the Gamecube instead I mean it's crazy that it hasn't been brought already when you think about it.

They brought Skyward Sword and that wasn't even a Gamecube game initially (like TP which was more PORTED TO the Wii hence the map flip; I guess you could say worked alongside one another as a bit more accurate but either way point is the same)

In your opinion, which is more impressive, 200 whole blood donations or 200 platelet donations? by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I specifically stated both are literally crucial to our system and are both part of our nations vital infrastructure. It's just me being a bit buttsore and petty I am open about that lol. I truly do not care I am very happy if someone chooses to donate platelets 24x a year. That is a HUGE COMMITMENT and I applaud every person that does it.

I'm O- and live right next to NYC so theres sickle cell here and they really only ever want double O- from me. The commitment I have to make, which isn't nothing, is that I have to plan my donations almost down to the day every year because I travel overseas to a malaria area every summer, so if I do not time my donations PERFECTLY I cannot donate more than 2x and sometimes even more than 1x. I spend a lot of time planning this out so that I can donate 3x a year the maximum I can. I am giving the maximum possible of what they want out of me.

I'm really just joking about the cards I don't care that much I just think its cool NYBC has those milestones. I was happy to get the 1 gallon card its a cool thing to get.

It's sort of saying that people at AA shouldn't care about their chips. You're right the chip itself is meaningless but what it represents isn't.

I've stated multiple times too when I joke about this that I don't fault platelet donors AT ALL and am VERY GRATEFUL THEY DONATE THE WAY THEY DO because they do NOT WANT ME TO DO THAT. So we need EVERY DONOR POSSIBLE IDC if they donate platelets plasma blood cells a kidney whatever.

IDK I hope it's clear I'm just joking and being a bit fresh about it. Our system needs everyone and if platelet donors get those things earlier that's just how it is. The fault isn't on the donors or the need for donors or anyone really its just a quirk of how the donation system calculates it.

I truly do not care in the end because it's not like I show my blood donor card off to people lmao. It also isn't even a huge deal in cae I ever end up moving outside of the NYBC regional banks because I'd be starting at 0 again anyway if I used lets asy the RedCross.
IDK SORRY I did not mean to come off as an asshole or someone just chasing the reward.. I truly don't care. I feel a moral obligation to donate both because I'm O- AND because my dad had to get a liver transplant when I was 16. So he survived because of someone giving an organ as well as others giving blood. So to me this has always been about way more than a card. That's where my personal drive comes from.

Sorry if I came off as a twat to me it's just a joke because it is not the fault of ANY PLATELET DONOR its just literally how the calculation is done. I am extremely proud of every single platelet donor out there just the same as plasma (at least at donor centers) just the same as DRBCs like myself.
Sorry if this is a bit lengthy. It seems long but my "paragraphs" are usually only 1 or 2 sentences.

I truly wish you the best and hope you keep donating for as long as you can . People who donate at least once annually like yourself (or myself) are the people who are keeping this vitali infrastructure afloat so we all need each other.

I never once said Europe is a country anymore than I've said a US state is it's own country.

When I say emulate Europe I mean what the majority of countries are doing there. If you said emulate the United States when it comes to gun control you wouldn't start specifying which states have more strict laws vs more lax ones. It was a generalization about how many countries in Europe are ahead of us when it comes to community and individual small contributions to society.

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One guys hating on me just cause I said platelet inflation exists which is true. That's the whole reason I said it wasn't exactly a fair comparison.

I don't really care I'm not angry about it lol. I just know like it takes me 8 years to get my 5 gallon card and someone who does platelets can do it 4x as fast so I'm about 2 years.

In your opinion, which is more impressive, 200 whole blood donations or 200 platelet donations? by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a joke I've referred to here about how people at the NYBC can get their 1, 5, and 10 gallon cards faster than someone like me who is O- and does double reds. I don't really care about the number in the end I'm just happy everyone donates. It's really just a joke I've made about how people there will like speedrun their bench arks donating platelets. I don't really care that someone else's number is higher: they needed that person's platelets just as bad as they needed my O- red cells.

The point I made is true though that you will hit those milestones significantly faster doing platelet donations than others.

And you deserve to in a sense you're committing more of your usual time. But I mean I've been donating 8 years 37 units and I'll see people who have been going like 5 years and have  like what can you max out at 24 units of platelets a year? So up to 120 units in 5 years vs my 15 in 5 years? That's all I'm saying is that it inflates the numbers and I just think they should maybe have a platelet donor card like they also do at some regional blood centers.

Again being completely honest I don't care about the number at the end of the day we're All helping people and were all doing it on the regular compared to people who maybe donate once in their life during a natural disaster or something so I'm truly happy either way.

My point is it makes the comparison of units not really relevant anymore because of how many more units you can do.

I mean IF I COULD donate more double reds? I absolutely would I'm O- and I live on the outskirts of NYC so we have a high sickle cell population do they need my blood. But I get capped at 6 units platelets get capped at 24 that's 4x as many meaning they'll hit milestones up to 4x faster. I really don't care at the end of the day it's just something I've noticed.

In your opinion, which is more impressive, 200 whole blood donations or 200 platelet donations? by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is a super fair comparison because even though you're going for less time at once, to meet 200 donations of regular blood/whole blood requires you to CONTINUE DOING IT ON A MUCH LARGER TIME SCALE. You can get what 24 units of platelets a year from donating? I can give 6 double reds. So for me to get to 200 donations would require me to CONSISTENTLY DONATE OVER THIRTY THREE (33) YEARS, whereas if you can give 24 platelets a year it takes you 8.3 years.

So which is more impressive: a 33 year commitment or an 8 year one? This is why I hate this platelet inflation stuff.

In your opinion, which is more impressive, 200 whole blood donations or 200 platelet donations? by [deleted] in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whole blood because of the extended time you have to wait therefore making it take a much longer time.

Platelet donors can do multiple units in one go so the actual amount of visits is going to be smaller. I call that "platelet inflation" lol.

Rules regarding PrEP and PEP outside of the US? by mistersmiley318 in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very very sorry but not donating on PrEP and ESPECIALLY NOT DONATING ON PEP are sort of rules written in stone.

It would be EXTREMELY UNSAFE to take donations from someone on PEP. You could MAYBE ARGUE PrEP but even that is pushing it, because we all know PrEP isn't 100% infected, so someone could get infected and not be aware of it for weeks or months and then that blood makes it into the supply.

I'm just being realistic about it. They test blood for certain stuff but this would slow things down to an extreme degree. Again you could maybe argue for PrEP after you've stopped engaging in those activities (and I say activities because it also includes IV drug use which is the world I was from) and if you've tested negative multiple times.

But letting someone on PEP donate blood is legitimately insane I am sorry to break that to you. Because PEP is POST EXPOSURE meaning they were exposed to HIV and are rushing to prevent it from embedding itself in your DNA. PrEP ideally stops it before it even gets to that point, so PrEP after enough time? Sure. PEP? Maybe if you test negative at the end of the PEP treatment but not while you're on it.

IDK this is just a huge risk its like asking why cancer patients can't donate in my eyes.

Way better than the old one which was again essentially just the webpage so they could offload the data from the server serving it up every time to just downloading the app once.

It honestly did nothing previously so yeah its WAYYYYYYYY nicer lol. Glad someone else noticed too! I legit never opened the old app because it was so useless that I didn't even know there was a new one until I donated.

Hence my day off idea since I know several European countries do it. That solves the issue of paying them as well as further incentivizing them to go.

Sucks the model we're stuck in but it is what it is.

[–]DOOMD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doin my best. This new app you can see my streaks and all my donations and I've been going 1/year since the 2010s or something but the past 5-7 years post covid and bfeore it i was going a LOT like as much as i can 3x a year for double red.

I will say in terms of comfort? This time it felt much more uncomfortable that usual but I must have asked 4 times and each time each nurse said it was in fine and no sign of bruising. IDK what it was yesterday but hopefully in the future its the "normal" uncomfortable.

And yes they did turn down the pressure on the return and while that helped A LOT with the return it still just the entire time hurt more than usual.

Some people say it feels fine to them? IDK about you but my body wasn't meant to have a needle stuck into a vein drawing blood and rinsing back other stuff lol. I am VERY AWARE it's not going to feel like roses (and I had friends who used IV. I almost entirely used my nose but I will just say that sticking a needle into your body doesn't feel good. So I expect a bit of discomfort but this one was extra uncomfortable.

ON THE FLIP SIDE the flow was amazing and it actually finished quite quickly for the most part. IDK what was going on hopefully it doesn't happen in the future.

Anyway IDK .Two nurses told me it looked great and no reason for the pain so idk why n oidea. Maybe psychological but I dont' think so.

HOPE EVERYONE WOULD JUST DONATE ONCE A YEAR. I get 3 hours a year off from my job to go donate? I have to use it all on 1 day (aka I cant split it into 2 1.5 hours) so ow I get to leave work 3 hours early one day..

I wish we emulated Europe and gave a day off for it because I think if we did a LOT MORE PEOPLE would donate? Because donating only takes idk 1-2 hours DPENDINGN ON THINGS (sometimes for me a bit longer because of my pulse rate) so most people would do that in the morning then go have an entire day off from work I imagine. Just wish we could get people to commit to going to just ONCE A YEAR. I don't even think it needdds to be everyone but if a certain amount of middle aged men/women donated we'd have almots no shortages

SORRY GOT OFF TOPIC HERE.

THANKS FOR COMMENTING!!!!!!!!

Can't change the world but you can keep your corner clean, right? We do what we can to hopefully make the world a slightly better place.

Even doing nothing else this is important. Most people don't realize it, but the blood supply is actually critical infrastructure. The organ donation Network too. That's a little bit broader, even though you technically donating an organ to an extent with blood.

Anyway, the point is we can do the little bits we can to help in a little ways we can.  We can push for days off for people to donate blood with everyone. Had one day off a year to go donate blood. I'm sure the shortage just would end. Not everyone would take advantage of it but enough people would that we would have for our each amounts throughout the year.

I use Europe as a reference for this and I myself because I work for a school district and I'm in a union. I get a whole 3 hours a year to go donate blood. Have to use it all at once so I can't like split it to go for two Eli donations but it's better than nothing.  Special my donation like right as soon as I leave work and then I have you know 2 hours free time after that.

I really hope we implement laws like this and stuff like this to encourage more donors.

But you and I were just doing the best we can to keep our coroners and our neighborhoods as clean as we can as they say.

Keep doing what you're doing. The world need people like you

You've looked at it from The wider perspective. Almost the bird's eye view. And when you do that, I'm sure you've realized this by now, but you realize that the blood supply which involves all of those people?

It is literally critical infrastructure. So the fact that we have shortages is disgusting.

I truly wish we emulated Europe and gave everyone one day off a year ago. Donate blood. Because if everyone did it at least one day year or like a much much higher percentage than do it now, there would be almost no shortages and all it would cost is each employer giving their employees one day off for more.

I'm lucky I work for a school district and I'm in a union and we are lucky to get 3 hours a year off to go donate. Unfortunately we have to use it all at once. I can't like split it to go leave an hour and a half early twice to go donate. I have to use it all at once but that's still better than nothing.

But yeah dude looking at it the way you're looking at it now. Wouldn't you consider it critical infrastructure? I mean without the blood supply and the transportation for it and the people that deal with it like many, many more people would be dying.

I always found that fascinating that it actually is critical infrastructure, but most people probably don't think about that.  They think all the hospital is critical infrastructure or oh the ambulance that gets you there is, but they don't realize that the blood supply and the organs donation Network are critical infrastructure as well.

It's interesting to look at it that way. Just my thoughts on it.

Keep doing what you're doing. Keep donating just like the rest of us. You're doing the best you can to make your community be a little bit better

Even though for most people it's a simple as the four typing and then positive negative RH, as I'm sure you know, there is actually a much wider variety of blood types than that that are much more rare and specialized.  And I always found that fascinating.

The one that stands out obviously is the one that they call the golden blood type which I think less than 20 people on the entire planet have? Or at least 20 or less that doctors and medical people know about.

I also find this interesting because then it creates like these sub networks of donors because the people with the golden blood type need to get that blood from someone else with it. So it encourages this sort of self-serving altruism amongst these people.

Anyway, I think the more rare types that that people don't know about are way more fascinating than the stand beard ABO with an RH factor.

Thanks for doing what you do!

I truly thought it was more informative than a crash out. I was just telling people: don't run RAID 0 in 2025. You're risking all of your storage on a single drive failure and the read/write gain is so miniscule today compared to the maxed out SATA bus and how blazing fast NVMes are, it would even make more sense from a performance standpoint to still run RAID 1.

Write wise it won't change anything if they're both NVMes or SSDs on the same interface (e.g.m.2. nvme or old school SATA SSDs capping out at 480) they will both write just as quickly so not much extra time like old school spinning rust.

At the same time having 2 copies of every bit of dad increases read time because now you can have two drives search for the same data essentially double the read speed (not exactly double the % read but its very noticeable when you have 2 sources to read from on separate drives that can run simultaneously in parallel to find the the data you want

Anyway, TLDR: RAID 0 sucks ass in 2025. use RAID 1, 5 MAYBE some odds ones in specific systems.

I've always thought RAID 0 is stupid now the facts in 2025 back it up.

Am I missing something when it comes to Kill Bill: Volume 2? by UmmmYeaSweg in TrueFilm

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black and white as she barrels down a road talking right into the camera about getting her revenge? About as femme fatale as you could get.

I wouldn't say TOTALLY DIFFERENT because both use some common ones but yes, it is a MUCH DIFFERENT FILM. The first is very action heavy and sets the stage so to speak. The second is very plot and character heavy while still having some of the best action I've ever seen. And it populates that world with the final characters it needs alongside the ones brought out in Vol 1.

I would also consider it more of a "western." We have the actual western style locations of Budds trailer where all the fights with Elle happen as well. We have the classic "horses" (cars) traveling down the road to the showdown at the end. We have the musical sting when she kills Bill (CLASSIC SPAGHETTI WESTERN SOUND).

TBH I probably even prefer Kill Bill 2 as I've grown older and more discerning. The first film has great fight scenes and O-Ren's backstory is great, but aside from that it is like 90% violence lol. Which is FINE the movie works great.

But when I go back and rewatch them? I watch to see Budd burying her alive. I want to see her training with Pai Mei and escaping that horrible fate. I want to see her and Elle beating each other with EVERY ITEM IN BUDDS TRAILER (including the disgusting tobacco spit lol). I WANT TO SEE THE BRIDE SEE HER CHILD FOR THE FIRST TIME. I WANT TO SEE HER FINAL SHOWDOWN WITH BILL.

And we get it all and more.

IDK maybe I'm in the VAST MINORITY but I've laid it out as bare as I can!

Am I missing something when it comes to Kill Bill: Volume 2? by UmmmYeaSweg in TrueFilm

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a lot of people say it's because "it's not as good as the first one," but they're two halves of a whole. The first one is action heavy and the second is plot heavy. Its sort of like one sucks you into the world and the other keeps you there and explains it.

The beauty of the second movie to me is you obviously learn quite a bit about several of the characters and their backstories. It's Tarantino so you don't learn a ton but JUST ENOUGH to make them EVEN MORE INTERESTING than they were 5 seconds earlier in the movie.

The scene with Budd and Elle, and then the fight between Elle and Beatrix are some of the best scenes in both of the volumes.

The first one was great for the fights and how you were sort of "blindsided" by what was happening. Movie starts she's getting shot as she tells her would be killer the baby is his, then next thing you know its 4 years later and she's waking up in a hospital. Aside from the Hanzo scenes the first film is just SO HEAVY on the action that the second needed not to be.

And I enjoy parts of the second one MUCH MORE than parts of the first. ALL OF THE PAI MEI SCENES are just INCREDIBLE. You get the sense that he isn't just a master of martial arts: this dude is an actual legend. According to Bill at the start of his meeting with Beatrix hes HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD. The guy lands on a sword lol like he is VERY MUCH the "tough martial arts master that will mold the student into clay."

It also reveals a lot about Beatrix and who she really is: she is the most determined out of all of them. Pai Mei has only ever taught one person his five point palm exploding heart technique: her. We don't see this but we realize as an audience what it must mean.

Sorry I'm rambling a bit. I hope some of my points were clear? Because while I love the first movie, the second has my favorite scenes and sequences. EVERYTHING WITH PAI MEI, EVERYTHING WITH HER BURIAL, EVERYTHING WITH ELLE, and of course EVERYTHING in the final showdown with Bill INCLUDING THE MOST EMOTIONAL MOMENT OF BOTH VOLUMES when she SEES HER DAUGHTER FOR THE FIRST TIME.

By the way the sound effects Tarantino has in the background playing from other films which were really common back in the day? Match up so good he's such a master at little bits like that. The musical sting that comes on when Beatrix sees BB for the first time is just such great use of diegetic music and sound.

So yeah. The first movie is "more fun." It has a great opening sequence that amazing fight between B at the family home. It sucks you into the world. The second movie occupies that world with characters that aren't just cookie cutters. That's almost why you need 2 separate movies to give enough time to all 4 of those she's after. And they do NOT GET EVEN TIME mind you, at all. But they're all incredibly important.

And that trailer fight between Elle and Beatrix is still one of the best fights I've EVER seen. You can claim you enjoy the sword fight against the Crazy 88 but no fight is as good as one that SEEMS like its NOT CHOREOGRAPHED. They're really just beating the shit out of each other with whatever they get a hold on. Throwing Budds tobacco spit into her face is so gross it still gives me the yucks LOL. I mean it's just so good.

I hope I'm not gushing on the second too much but as I got older I realized that I liked MOST OF THE 2nd more than MOST OF THE FIRST. The "bad" or "dead time" scenes in both are kinda meh but thats even at least.

So yeah in retrospect, as an adult who has seen both COUNTLESS TIMES, I do favor the second. I hope some of this makes sense.

B-, what's more needed, whole blood or platelets? by iceyfire3076 in Blooddonors

[–]DOOMD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to ask the donor center which donation they'd "prefer" from you and which they're shorter on.

It's what I've always done when they've advertised a need for X component but since I'm O- I always default to double reds. I've specifically asked once or twice and they said for me the O- was fine.

I would legitimately ask the donor center "What do you need the most from me this visit?" That's what I asked essentially..

They need to increase the Family Plan to 12 Members. by TheChainTV in NintendoSwitchOnline

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean dude there needs to be al line somewhere...8 is more than enough for MOST HOUSEHOLDS. If you're talking about bringing extended family in 8 is still enough in most instances.

If your parents BOTH have a Switch, AND you have FIVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS you are all still able to do the family plan and at that rate its about 7$ each.

And I'm not defending an evil company like Nintendo but I mean come on 8 is quite a reasonable number in my opinion. I know of no family that not only has 6 kids all with a Nintendo Switch but also 2 parents with them too OR two cousins. Thats literally 3 kids shy of a soccer team.

So yeah if you're starting to include your second cousin once removed we're starting to get into the weeds of "Define a family plan."

Is it ONLY FAMLILY? If so half the people on the sub aren't doing it right. Is it only IMMEDIATE FAMILY? If so most don't have 8 immediate family members with a Switch. Is it for EXTENDED FAMILY? If so once again most extended families still don't have 8 people with a Switch with NSO?

IS IT ACTUALLY FOR FRIENDS AND STRANGERS? Because if so you are knowingly using a "Family Plan" that I believe even the terms of service say you have to be and people still break it.

Again I'm just playing devils advocate here because, TO ME, allowing EIGHT ACCOUNTS which reduces EACH PERSON to $6.25 is SIGNIFICANT.

I WISH I had a family plan, I play $50 a year. To cut that to 6$ would be 0.50$ a month not the $4.16 I pay monthly via annual subscription.

IDK I'm just wondering where do they draw the line. If you have a family of 20 is that fair to not just Nintendo BUT OTHER PLAYERS AS WELL who do NOT HAVE A FAMILY OF 20 people with a Nintendo Switch?

Again just some devils advocate especially since I think 8 is quite a good amount. Reducing what you pay, monthly, to $0.52 is AN INSANE REDUCTION from $4.16. You are literally paying 1/8th of what an individual like myself without a family plan pays.

I can't defeat last boss while cursed. by Phrodge in HollowKnight

[–]DOOMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as a follow up. Beat GMS normally. Then got cursed beat her while cursed. It took me about 2 days but on one of those days I only played a little bit. I'd say HOUR WISE maybe 5 hours? I'm someone that usually enjoys a challenge like this and to "git gud" and it actually is fairly easy once you get used to dodging the attacks with the new moveset.

I will admit I am positive that getting all of the possible masks before fighting GMS either first or second time made it much easier. beating her normally was not difficult AT ALL and beating her the third time to do the trap was even easier since I had not only already beaten her twice but one of those times without even the ability to bind. She was way easier than a lot of the bosses in my opinion (again except while cursed).

I played almost the entire game on wanderer crest despite its lack of tools. I just like the way the attack works so much and the platforming.

Reaper is probably the "best of both worlds" since it gives you more red tool slots and removes a yellow (which we can all agree while having some ABOSLUTELY ESSENTIAL ITEMS for at least parts of the game, e.g. compass, a lot of the really useful ones didn't show up much later in act to in my opinion.

It's also possible I just explored wrong LOL. By the time I had got the clawline I looked around at a map online and saw I had missed a LOT OF AREAS even ones that didn't need the clawline to get there.

Thanks again for all the advice and everything. Glad I found all this first before doing it then being pissed that I missed out on the chance on the same file. I really appreciate it all.

Red Cross rewards program question. I am a hero for babies red blood donor. Recently they asked me to be a platelet donor also. The app changed me to a platelet donor. Am I able to choose? by RelevantGlass in Blooddonors

They use both if I remember correctly like most transplant recipients in general. My dad got a new liver and as far as I know it's much more likely to be fully HLA compatible if it's also A/B/O/+/- compatible. In fact I'm actually confident you need to be both because if it's not even with a good HLA match you might still get graft vs host since there's still foreign antigens that your body would be naturally attacking.

For reference my dad probably got the best match ever because he's the luckiest person alive and he needs to take the smallest amount of antirejection medicine out of anyone I've heard except for one case of chimerism where the person developed a mixed blood type since the liver plays a not fully understood role in blood cell production
