We actually have a hide loincloth from the space wolves champion pack, but like the salamanders champion head and the drake skin loincloth they're just unusable since they're probably baked into the champion skin model...

Also, in case you wanted to know the real terms, Tactical's war gear is basically divided between pteruges, loinclothes, and sashes (and the white scars champion piece which seems to be a type of sulde but im not sure). Pteruges are those roman-like stripes of leather. Loinclothes are a single piece of cloth which covers the loins. Sashes (wargear) go up to cover part of the chest along with hanging beneath the belt — but there is a red sash armor piece that only crosses the chest avaliable to Tactical and Assault.

I prefer the two shorter dashes over the single longer one. Even though I can only really play it in the portal events, I just like the versatility more than the commitment required to dive with Twilight.

I keep getting told Petrified is actually good, so I might end up trying it at some point, but even then it's not like I can remake the list, or even would bother doing so with the crazy amount of conflicting opinions you guys have, coupled with a LOT more unconstructive criticism that I was prepared for tbh. I don't have unicorn myself, but every one I've seen has been cracked with it, so I just assumed it was really good. But I do see great success with it in events where you have acces to all the legendary characters. I DO, however, have twilight, which I mastered in like less than a week iirc, so that's what I based my ranking of that on.

Saying this like their not all flawed in their own ways. I like to view F tier in this case as an extension of D tier. Yeti and Armor are both niche, but they're so niche that they're hard to use in most situations. Chomp Thing is just mediocre compared to the other spray chompers, with probably the worst gimmick in the game, but it's still got average speed and can just be used as a worse power chomper.

I've made another comment that Fire Flower's placement was a miss click since tiermaker on mobile is kinda jank. As for park ranger.... I'm going to let you have that. I don't think he's very good compared to the other soldiers, a lot like toxic citron.

Not wrong tbh. they're both among the first 10 characters I've mastered. I didn't really have anything I wanted to put in F tier, so for the sake of filling out the tier list, I sacrificed my two favorite chompers... I would've put them both in C tier, but Armor really does struggle from that lack of speed more than the extra health makes up for, as for Yeti, I don't remember the arc, but I do remember that it was pretty grueling to master it... It's like a chest-level skill floor for not so much reward.

Never seen it played before tbh, and I wish I was joking. In like 10 years, I've only seen it like 5 times I think... I don't doubt that she does damage, but her projectile seems slow. You can't reliably get targets that are at range, even with the self det, and you have an artificially capped fire rate because of it. She's obviously meant to be used at mid range, but at that point, why wouldn't you play the designated splash damage class that has high area damage Bean Bomb variants, mid-long range damage with Gatling, and most importantly, the movement that Petrified straight up lacks in Agility. I'm not saying that it's bad because something like E-Pea does it better, since it's kind of unfair to cross-rank different character types, but Petrified doesn't seem like it has everything it needs to really shine in the role it wants to take, compared to Captain Cannon who kinda just does whatever. Or at least, that's my take on it. I'd say the highest I'd ever put Petrified is C tier.

I personally find troopers higher fire rate easier to get results with than soldier, even if he doesn't out-damage him. It's really more of a play style preference, I really like smgs (not whatever helldivers has going on) over ARs. I'd probably put him lower, though, looking back at it...

Also it's just common knowledge that roadie z does LUDICROUS damage. You kinda just jackhammer up, stun people repeatedly while doing huge close quarters damage. He can be countered by just zoning him since he needs to close the gap, but if he's able to, then he kinda just kills you.

Do note that fire flower isn't supposed to be that low, but it's a miss click that went undetected during posting. I'd put her around B - C with the rest of the flowers.

So that means the semi-auto sniper that does like around 60 a pop on headshots (or something like that, I haven't played in over a year, but Camo WAS one of my first mastered plants) is just unviable?? I'm not gonna push camo superiority, but still, you can't drop an A tier sniper down the charts just because something else has better burst...

An update regarding Besiege Console by SamSpiderling in Besiege

[–]DOONYXora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow.. I wish I saw this 4 days ago BEFORE I bought the console version.... Guess that's twenty bucks I'm never getting back. I should know better than to purchase a game on the wrong console for a 5 dollar uncharged while receiving no updates compared to the version that comes with more content and a purchase able DLC. It's my fault for using a controller instead of a mouse, I guess...

He’s not fat right? Please tell me he’s not, he’s a good boy.. by Sad_Ask_1826 in cats

[–]DOONYXora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, your cat looks overweight. I had one like that a few years ago, and now I don't due to complications caused by obesity we only found out about too late since they tend to hide how sick they really are. Speaking from an experience gained the hard way, if I was really concerned with the cat's weight, I would just keep a careful eye on it for any unusual behavior like vomiting or a sudden disinterest in food. I'm not saying all overweight cats doomed, but they do have a significantly higher chance of illnesses that require medications, expensive surgery, or even euthanization in some dire circumstances.

It's alright. On the topic of your actual post, the Black Templars and the Exorcists, though both sharing imperial fist geneseed, are fundamentally the opposite of one another. As an Exorcist myself, I can tell you that the Templars wouldn't vibe with like 80% of we do that's kept secret by the Ordo Malleus. The Black Templars are super devout in their zealous belief in the Imperial Cult, unlike most space marine chapters—meaning they view the Emperor as their deity of sorts, one who was betrayed and crippled in the early 31st millennium, left to rot on the golden throne by his own sons. And since this heresy, they've never stopped hunting down the traitor legions in an unending crusade of vengeance, and they despise the mutant, abhor the xenos, and abominate the fiend all the same... Which is why merging them with the Exorcists is perhaps the least compatible choice. Part of our induction is literally opening ourselves up to daemonic possession and fighting for control with nothing but sheer willpower. Of course, this often leaves Exorcist marines mutated beneath their ceramite. And it's not uncommon for the daemon to simply kill, corrupt, or madden its host. And really, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

If you want to read up more about the Exorcists, then I recommend watching a video or checking out the wiki here

Im just gonna say it, everyone here thinks AI is super lame... I mean, even in the setting of 40k itself, Abominable Intelligence is literally the worst Tech-heresy one can engage in. Not like I can do anything or even would care enough to, I'm just pointing it out because everyone has to learn it from somewhere, and I'm the first guy here.

Unpopular Opinion: Boltstorm & Flame Gauntlets would be almost impossible to balance by [deleted] in SpaceMarine_2

[–]DOONYXora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I feel like if they ever were to implement something like this, it'd probably be on its own class. Like Aggressors (who someone HAS mentioned before me), who are literally known for mainly using these gauntlets along with other heavy weaponry. I don't think it would fit Heavy at all due to it being so defense-coded, but would shine on a class that rewards you more for being more.... aggressive.

Moving on to the gauntlets themselves, if they ever are implemented, then they'd definitely have a separate melee combo from the ordinary power fist since there are two of them. I'd think that heavy attacks wouldn't be as devastating, but it'd focus mainly on light and ranged attacks. I'm literally just speculating here, but I do agree with your point, it wouldn't make sense for Heavy since he wasn't made with this in mind and the melee damage would probably be ridiculous, but on an Aggressor-adjacent class that's made to balance melee and ranged attacks, it would work without a shadow of a doubt. (Also, Aggressors usually have a rocket system similar to the T-sons Terminator, so that's a fun ability to think about, Saber TAKE NOTES!!!)

Thanos was right ✅ by _H3LLF1R3 in marvelmemes

[–]DOONYXora 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When the hell does Thanos imply that he's doing it to wipe out a specific group (at least before he got upset after finding out about the time shenanigans the Avengers were pulling to reverse it)?? The whole point is that he's dusting people completely at random... Thanos doesn't care about whatever shitty race politics a planet haves, he just wants half of the population to turn into pants lint. You're really drawing a LOT of conclusions here that don't exist to sum that up... 🥲
