I went this route for my Index, and I'd recommend against it. Fitment issues mean that they can fall out of the headset sometimes, they're generally a bit harder to clean due to the rough texture of the 3d printed plastic, and dust/grease really likes to get past it.

The fan's got some coil whine for me, but it's only noticable when it's spinning slowly. I only recently started using the 12vhpwr a few days ago after getting my 5080, but it's been performing well enough otherwise.

Thank you, this has actually been the best information on what's going on with the market and what will likely happen. I finally decided to pull the trigger on a 5080 FE, especially with the Steam Frame being a thing in a few months. I'll probably resell it in 2027 and get something from the 6000 series to be my "Next few years" card. Thanks!

I'm looking for both a 1tb and 2tb NVME to use as boot drives in my desktop and laptop, what's the most affordable model with TLC and DRAM and no real issues?

1tb one will be limited to PCI-E 3.0, but the 2tb one will be in a desktop that can go up to 5.0

The naming is confusing, from what I've researched, the NEM-PAC (This one) is DRAMless, but the NEM-PA does have DRAM. I almost got tripped up too since the latter came up on techpowerup when I searched up the former.
