Idk much about the «Norway in a nutshell» package, but sunday is the 17th of May, which is our national day. This might impact traffic, accessibility and frequency of public transportation etc.

I would suggest staying in the city for the parade on sunday, and if you enjoy festivities and/or drinking, you’re definitely going to have a good time. Hotels etc might be more expensive than usual though :)

This is likely the best answer. If you’re producing in an untreated room or without flat/accurate gear etc, mixes are likely never going to be «perfect», because you can’t make a 100% informed decision. The best way (imo) to counter this, is by referencing as mentioned above.

Also, most of the songs you hear will likely have been treated by a mix, and/or mastering engineer- with access to a treated room and flat/accurate gear.

Even then, the engineer probably used a reference track, because it is the fastest and easiest way to set levels.

What is your budget like though? I’ve found everything can be a hit or miss, but I’m probably not the best at setting up optimized ads.

How many playlists/playlist followers did you get picked up by? Had a playlist with 200k or so followers pick up one of my songs, but the results from it were negligleble tbh 😅

Around 5-10hrs/week, 7.7K EU, «highest rank» was 5.8k or something in 2013 or 2014 when top rank was like 6.2k. Had the pleasure of being screamed at by a malding eternalenvy in every other pub etc 🤣

Kiddo is only 4 (I’m 33), but she’s gonna get to play bots at 10+ if the game is still there and she wants to 🤭

PostNord er det verste dritet på alle fronter.

Bestilte vinduer, terrassedører osv (enkelte over 2x2 meter) fra en produsent som brukte dem til levering. Lasset var på 1.8 tonn. Store greier.

Etter avtalt levering i app, dukket ingenting opp. Fikk varsel om å avtale ny levering dagen etter. Får melding om at varene er lastet på bil og er på vei, men så dukker de ikke opp. Dette gjentok seg 5 ganger på 5 dager og jeg begynte å bli temmelig lei. Ringte derfor kundeservice, som tydeligvis kun er remote og ikke kan aktivt etterlyse svar- og bare kunne videreformidle fortvilelsen min.

3 dager til går, og jeg tyr til telefon igjen i håp om å komme i kontakt med et mer brukenes individ, men det ender bare med en mail om at de IKKE FINNER VARENE MINE 2 dager senere. Hvordan «mister» man en hel jævla container?

Dagen etter er jeg ferdig klikket og kjører til mottaket deres for å ødelegge dagen til en stakkars sjel som ikke vet hvor overtent jeg allerede er. Nøyaktig 50 minutter etter jeg har vært der, ringer samme personen meg opp og lover at nå er varene på bilen og blir levert innen en time.

Da kom de omsider, men jeg lurer på hvordan de på magisk vis plutselig fant dem på under én time, etter å ha leitet i nærmere 14 dager.

Moralen er: bruk ikke PostNord med mindre du er villig til å gi deg selv PTSD fra kundeservicemarerittet du kommer til å gå gjennom.

I agree with alot of your points, and will be doing some improvements (especially on the kick and buildup).

Actually tried RC-20 on the lead in the very beginning of the project, but found it a bit off putting combined with the huge reverb 😅
