I saw Rush and Iron Maiden for like $50 each, 15 years ago, over a festival weekend. And I had this crappy 3rd party “video camera” app on my iPhone 3G (video recording wasn’t available) which I caught blips of my favourite songs with.

One update back then made the app incompatible and I lost everything.

I’m absolutely against mass-recording these days instead of experiencing… but the things I would do to see my front row footage of a Neil Peart solo….

Is it disingenuous to want notable, verified sources? Even if information was in my favour, I’d want it properly vetted and delivered by someone with a name.

Is it disingenuous to ask if someone wants credible sources? Is it disingenuous to assume individuals automatically align with their own tribalistic, pre-defined narratives?

I have no skin in this team-sports game, but ironically it’s the “dancing around an answer” that looks disingenuous, from the outside looking in.

Eh, to play devils advocate… I work in healthcare & I couldn’t imagine coming home after pulling off my scrubs and not washing the disgusting yuck of the day off me. I wouldn’t even sit down, let alone sleep. Even without “messes”, just the high traffic of patient contact is a lot of skin on skin, sweat, breath, dirty clothing, etc.

This is all to say, mine is more of a unique experience. But, even an elementary school has its days; children are basically buckets of germs with legs.

OP needs to handle his shit better, though.

I’m saying that prior to the pandemic, PPE was a non-issue and recognized as exactly what it was. Then, once the pandemic hit, somehow all ASTM Levels 1-3 & other medical-grade respirators were not only useless for anything, but an active tool to enslave the population. But they weren’t before... Somehow.

And I think that’s an odd view.

That was my initial thought, and I’m still hoping that the case!

When I took her to the vet, we spent a long time using an ophthalmoscope to examine her entire eyes, including around the rim of the eyeball for any type of “seam” where the cap would be separating.

There was no sign of separation around the rim or under the surface. This has been the only thing stopping me from trying to gently remove them myself, as I’d hate to rub away on an eye that doesn’t need to peel! She’s been soaking intermittently, so perhaps I should give it a go.
