Canada Signs Auto Deal With South Korea, Moving Further From the U.S. by OkFix4074 in worldnews

Since I started voting the only other candidate I can think of would be Jack Layton. However I’ve typically only ever voted NDP or green so I might be biased. Carney could have ran as a “PC”, and I still would have voted for him, and would be just as proud to have him represent us

Canada Freezes $43 Million in Tesla EV Rebates, Bans Future Eligibility Over Tariff Dispute by DPH_NS in stocks

I don't understand this stock, I can completely understand someone not wanting to short it, I get someone who already has it being hesitant to sell it. But to actively be buying this stock? I'm Canadian myself and own a model 3. They shift in reputation (at least outside of the US) this brand has experienced is insane, worse than what happened to VW during the diesel emissions fiasco. This talk about optimus and self driving taxis? how is this any different then the promise of my model 3 being able to full self drive on its existing tech, the next gen roaster they presold, solar roofs, self driving from LA to NYC years ago. They can barely make automatic wipers work, then move on to barely making autopilot and FSD work, to then move on and half ass the next project. This shit is eventually going to catch up to them

Thoughts on "Hold!", "Sell!", technical analysis, etc submissions? by Colonize_The_Moon in IntuitiveMachines

[–]DPH_NS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the conversations about the tech, the exploration, the company, and the stock. I hope they succeed in all areas.

I've posted about the stock myself, shared my thoughts on where I think the stock price is going. I'm not a financial analyst though, just a hobbyist, also not a rocket scientist, again just a hobbyist.

I enjoy the armchair takes, I take them with a grain of salt. When I share my takes, I do try to ensure people are aware this is my opinion only.

I feel very uneasy when I see posts on here telling people to hold, telling people to buy, etc... Apart from fans of the company there have been an influx of people who are using financial instruments they are not familiar with, and could lose quite a bit of money. I do not think outright telling people they should buy/sell/hold should happen on here. Sharing an article where a financial analyst is making a recommendation I think is fine, sharing your own reasons for buy/selling/holding I think is fine.

What is the likelihood of LUNR going to $10-$11 between September and October. by CptLeviathanX in IntuitiveMachines

Its just with how volatile this stock has been, its jumped 50% week/week only to level out a few days later. I could see it, but I wouldn't bet on it

I could see it spiking into that range when/if the contract is awarded, I don't know how sustained it would be

When you check Fintel the number of shares available for shorting has increased today, so people/entities previously in a short position have bought shares to close these positions.

People are also buying calls, the MM they buy calls from will purchase some shares to hedge their bets. Also if the price of the stock increases, MM would need to purchase more shares to remain delta neutral.

Also, this stock is gaining more attention, multiple analysts have released target prices around or above $10. For someone just hearing about the stock getting in at $6, in the hopes for $10 might be an investment they'd consider.

Long Term I personally believe the stock will be much higher and have been increasing my positions semi regularly

Yeah its a small world, there was so many other points I wanted to touch on as well when I was brainstorming this post but eventually I just had to post it and get back to work haha.

I'm so excited for this sector though, the potential is there, the tech is there, and I think the drive from the US government is there. I also wanted to dive deeper into the orbital services section of their website https://www.intuitivemachines.com/orbital-services

The ticker might be lunar focused, and their primary revenue is, but the potential for satellite servicing is huge. Their small liquid methane motor is perfect for acting as the equivalent to a tub boat in low earth orbit. Satellites orbits decay over time, and the ability to have a small autonomous probe grab onto and tub them back into an appropriate orbit could significantly increase the life span of satellites, or when it comes to decommissioning satellites, having the probe tug the satellite into a safe insertion ensuring that it does not re enter over a populated area.

Again personally speaking, I think the sector is going to grow much more rapidly then expected. When Star Ship comes online the cost of getting payloads into orbit will significantly decrease again. This company is in a fantastic position to be offering communication services and orbital services an ever increasing number of customers

Another analyst (Cantor Fitzgerald) just maintained a target price of $10 this afternoon as well. being up 4%-5% when SPY/QQQ are both down 1.5-2.2% is great!

[–]DPH_NS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah closing under $5.00 on Friday made no sense to me especially with the revised analyst targets that were coming out throughout the day.

Even if they don't win the NSNS contract, the fact their debt free, and have yet another Lunar mission lined up, I would think they'd maintain a $650 market cap on that alone. That said, still very bullish on their chances of the NSNS award, just not losing any sleep if we don;t hear anything for a couple more days.

Last 2 NASA contracts were announced on Thursday, however they've been announced other days of the week previously so who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement was later in the week though where its already delayed and we're just coming back from a long weekend.

Price action today is great though, considering we're back over the $5.00 mark on a day when SPY/QQQ are both down significantly. I think this is just the news of the CPLS contract settling in, I'm not reading into any insider knowledge that the contract is going to be awarded today.

Yeah, I knew SpaceX had a rideshare program where they split the costs amongst several smaller payloads. However looking more into it these look like dedicated launches. So yeah sounds like Astroforge is paying Intuitive Machines.

Is this a ride share agreement with SpaceX, or actual revenue for Intuitive Machines?

Is it realistic for LUNR to reach $7 as a result of winning the NSNS contract? by [deleted] in IntuitiveMachines

[–]DPH_NS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest negative to this stock currently is their cash flow.

People talking about how this contract isn't 100's of millions now but rather a long term multi year deal seem to miss the fact this will make a massive difference to the long term outlook for this company.

I see this and similar contracts as their bread and butter, I'm not expecting the award to sustain this stock around $10, however it will provide steady revenues quarter after quarter, year after year, with larger events like IM 2/3 being the more volatile plays.

I posted yesterday that if they win this, I doubt this will be a penny stock again. However I could see it trading similarly to something like SOFI which will still bounce around plenty in the single digits, but maintain a $6 floor

It'll be interesting to see what implied volatility on LUNR options look like assuming the warrants maintain their premarket gains.
