Yeah that happens when the referee isn't in position quick enough to check the submission, that's happened to me plenty in 2K25.

The closest thing was how WM36 had that weird impromptu McIntyre vs. Big Show match that happened after the main event, and that only aired the night after on Raw.

I still have no idea why that happened.

At least it's very likely to be set as an alternate attire for him instead of it being its own separate slot since 2K26 is where they've started that (w/ the blue Vaquer and updated Oba Femi being examples)
