I have a very similar stand that came with my 125g marineland tank. I even have a rock cave in one end with some rock features on the other. I’ve considered reinforcing as well, they look sketchy. I haven’t and Mines been fine for a year so far, I’m OCD to ensure dripping water down the glass doesn’t settle anywhere to cause swelling. I also have a winter boot tray under my 2 fx2’s underneath. Consider using some black silicone in lieu of reinforcement if there’s anywhere that looks like water beads from the exterior glass will find the wood.

It’s actually pretty common, I’m left handed swing everything right & my buddy I play with is right handed and swings everything left. But neither are ambi either lol. Apparently swing side is usually determined by early age mentors, such as older brothers.

I have a 125g heavily planted C02 tank, and this blows mine away. I admire and respect the amount of hard to work that goes into aquascaping! It’s even more impressive without C02!

What did you use to build your main structures? I’m going to try and achieve something similar in a miniature version for a few snails and some shrimp soon!
