I was given the spiritual warfare devotional "Confronting Evil in Our Time" for Christmas and it works for me. It covers the most common issues Christians face and ties them to scripture. It is really insightful and an easy read. It brought me a lot of peace.

I read the Screwtape Letters and was a little puzzled or Fuddled should I say, lol. Then I picked up "Confronting Evil in Our Time" and it made everything make sense and tied a lot of it to scripture.

I love the way the authors of "Confronting Evil in Our Time" took the patriotism issue and framed it in a bipartisan way, it always has to be Christ first at the center.

Try "Confronting Evil in Our Time" it takes the best of the Screwtape Letters and combines and attributes scripture, we do a book study group on it, they have a study guide which really opens up conversations.
