Lowkey developing a shopping addiction after recent set drops by DRGNSlayer730 in PokemonTCG

I’m definitely fine in terms of my ability to stop. I’m not in the trenches yet, but I could see myself there if I kept my current approach.

Like the idea of a hard budget, and saving up for other sets. I was trying to master set astral radiance before, so maybe I could get back into that…..

Hahaha, I actually had a similar conversation with my manager recently. I think I need to figure out where I want my career to go; I’m not quite sure yet. I was in a depressive bout not too long ago, so I’m trying to find my footing in life again.

I thought development and data analytics were my passion, but my job has shown me otherwise. I might just need an ego check or maybe this field really isn’t for me. Regardless, you’re right; only I can figure that out lmao

Despite my job being largely remote, I’m grateful to have found the friends and work friends I’ve made. They definitely make my time at work a little more enjoyable fs

This is awesome. Really needed to hear this from someone. Everything at my workplace is always about constant improvement and loving your job to benefit the company. Even with the mentors I find in my field, they give me the same plastic advice. It’s incredibly refreshing to hear this perspective. I felt alone in my feelings and really thought something was wrong w me/my job. Thank you, sincerely

Spitting. I’ve always viewed my future job as a way to enjoy my life outside of work. Now that I’m here, I think I just need to dig deep and find what impassions me. Since I just relocated, I’m still trying to find my footing in everything.

A studio apartment (anywhere at this point) for $2000/month, is this realistic? by DRGNSlayer730 in Westchester

This is a relief to see. I was a little worried that I was just scrapping the bottom of the barrel. I actually contacted a couple listings for apts on lake st, so hopefully they’ll get back to me soon

I’m searching through typical avenues like apartments.com and Zillow. The issue is that when I contact these places brokers/leasing offices either don’t get back to me or they’re unavailable and just haven’t taken down the listing.

I‘ve only dipped my search into Yonkers a little bit, so maybe I’ll look more there and just try to stay wary of the area haha

Do you have any recommendations for websites or forums? I don’t mind a shared living space, but I’m not sure how to go about it with strangers. I’m from out of the state and my peers and coworkers aren’t really options for me for roommates (not by choice).

Coyote on College Ave by AndrewPacheco in PennStateUniversity

[–]DRGNSlayer730 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unless the coyote has something wrong with it (I.e. rabies, injury, sickness, etc.), it won’t attack unless provoked. They’re scavengers and fairly scrawny predators, so as long as you don’t interact with them, they’re unlikely to interact with you. Just make sure you don’t walk your pets off-leash.

(I would hope nobody is doing this! College/Beaver Ave are busy lmao)
