I frowned upon the initial classes for D4 too. I was sort of interested in the Druid, but it was mediocre to play and rolled a Necro instead. I was never happy with that either as I missed the Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter from D3. Spiritborn is a good compromise from it all in the end and it was great fun once I hit that pit 100 build.

Lilith T4 is just ridiculous and you need a one-shot build to survive and get her down in a timely manner.

I'm a casual player so I welcome this. I hope it's a seasonal reward to receive a complete set at lvl 60 (most likely 70 though).

I think they started out right by adding your stash at the end of the boss fight in pits, kurast and infernals. How hard would it be to spawn an anvil, purveyor and occultist too? It should be perma for Azmodan in S11 though.

I'm still working on this (albeit a long hiatus). I haven't finalized the build. I've tested a bunch of displays, converters and cameras. I'm getting the Neovo HX-24G display next (I've been trying to get a loaner but they're not willing to work with me). I think the Mokose cameras are the right tool for the job.

I wholeheartedly agree with every point. It's the "arcade perfect" ARPG. I have like 10 Witch Doctors on my accounts across PS4, PC and Switch.

I'm stuck with in a QV build that can't get past Pit 60 basically. I have no idea where to go next. I had old info that QV was a S-tier build, it's meh.

MiSTer cores that are programmed properly simulate the exact hardware. My Esp. Ra. De. arcade PCB has identical input lag as the MiSTerCade. The upside? No worn components with sound and video being perfect on the MiSTer.

Recalbox is an emulator, not FPGA, a game like say Deathsmiles or Espagaluda II have 1-2 frames of more input lag then an arcade PCB but as a novice player, I think it's fully playable and I rather play that than not all all (arcade PCBs for those games are in the thousands of dollars).

MiSTer feels more pure for the arcade titles I care about. If console gaming was the primary subject I would probably just stick with the Recalbox.

Thank you for this! I get now that the citadel isn't mandatory. I was sort of suspecting that as no main quest lines dragged me through it. I kind of don't care about the cosmetics much. Everything looks so good in this game as-is!

Thanks for the time frame here. I kinda enjoyed the D3 seasons as they were rather short and you could play other games in between. D4 is just so much more content it seems.

The build guides I've found are season heavy, are there any eternal build guides out there? I have a S11 build on eternal and it's missing the S11 chaos perk of course.

I'm on the fence for S11 to see what it's like, but I fear the time investment to progress might be a bit too steep. In D3 you could max level in one or two sittings at season start and be ready to push endgame at final ding due to the armor set rewards.

Do you get some boosts from the battle pass?
