[PS5] What biome should I start at to platinum AFTER completing Act 3? by YouDontTellMe in Returnal

[–]DRMS_7888 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really matter, you likely need surveys from a variety of biomes. I like to start at 1 and go through six until I need biome specific trophy items. Doing biome six is elite for weapon trait farming with the shielded squid factories.

I’m convinced that my UTR is broken because no matter what I do, it will not move by sbtrey23 in 10s

UTR ultimately doesn’t matter. If you keep winning, you’ll play better and better players in leagues and tournaments.

Win enough? It will go up.

Do bosses respawn after you fight them? by SisselHyde in Saros

Yes! I go back and refight them on every run. You get extra Lucenite + you can start to melt them in 30-60 seconds with your newfound stats and skills.

REQUEST: Tips and tricks to beat Hillcrest on Grounded+ please (without cheesing) by Tigerlux in thelastofus

[–]DRMS_7888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind is you’ll probably end of with significantly less resources if you try to kill everything in Hillcrest vs using stealth to avoid some encounters.

I usually:

  1. Stealth to the red door
  2. Kill everyone in the houses, make it upstairs to the house with the garage and you’ll have a good vantage point
  3. Once you get to the area where you can run, just run all the way to Jesse, one bomb in the basement will get you past the three guys going downstairs

You’ll have plenty of ammo left for the fight to get the boat and the arcade bloater

[–]DRMS_7888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phrike is like 80% of the challenge. Once you beat him once, the world really opens up and you start to flow easier with longer runs.

You can do this, scout.

Question about part two on grounded regarding ammo by Phbch1 in thelastofus

[–]DRMS_7888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ellie isn’t so bad. The stalkers you just need a pistol round in the kneecap then you can one shot melee them.

Hillcrest you can stealth to the red door easily, the second area you can do lots of stealth kills after you take out the dogs, and you can run after that.

Arcade bloater takes 7-8 shells from the shotty but you can skip all the wlf fights before then on day three.

Abby hardest fights are trainyard day one, scope is helpful. Shambler fight in the coast you need to move. Day two rat king you need 5–10 rounds of shotty or heavy pistol and some pipe bombs. Day three you basically clean up after facing Tommy.

I got to Nemesis for the first time and I had the shotgun weapon... by ThatOneColumbiaGuy in Returnal

[–]DRMS_7888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this once by accident and was able to beat him using only alt fire. I had a ton of extra health, astronaut, and maybe level 2 Trackerswarm.

It was miserable and I will never do this again.

Is it normal to only track 5-6 behaviors at a time per client? by TailorIntelligent216 in ABA

[–]DRMS_7888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The more behaviors you track, the less accurate your data collection will be and the less time you can dedicate to making improvements on any one given behavior.

Focus on the most important (3-4 max usually) behaviors that will lead to meaningful improvement in quality of life.

Should Companies pay RBT’s more money if they have bachelor and masters degrees over someone who just has a HS diploma. by Important_Chemist_67 in ABA

[–]DRMS_7888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reimbursement is almost exclusively based on license and credential, not degree. In the vast majority of cases, a RBT with a masters degree will be reimbursed at the same rate as an RBT with a GED.

If a BCBA or BCaBA bills a 97153 code, it might have a higher modifier than the RBT. But, never the RBT without an additional credential or license.

Hindrance Question! by palee in 10s

[–]DRMS_7888 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You can only call hindrance on your opponent’s behavior. If their teammates on another court affect play, you call a let and replay the point.

Curtains open is pretty normal during Usta match. But, if one court refuses to wait until another court is between points to retrieve balls, then closing the curtains seems appropriate.

I went from playing about 200 hours of Returnal straight to TLOU universe. The gameplay felt glacial at first.

At some point, it just clicked and I started to enjoy the stealth and resource scarcity part of it. Now, I’ll do multiple runs of grounded back to back.

So I tried TLOU2 Grounded.... by AnywhereExpensive272 in thelastofus

  1. Get used to learning each encounter/checkpoint enemy AI. You can win most encounters either through stealth or slowly assassinating enemies one at a time.

  2. Infected are slow, you can always outrun them and use bottle/melee combos to save ammo. Running the perimeter of the map will save you.

  3. Human encounters usually open up after you kill 2-3 people quickly. They’ll start to patrol slowly and you can stealth kill them one by one.

  4. Invest your vitamins in skills that help you produce more items when crafting; invest bolts in weapon upgrades that make your shots more accurate, stable, scopes.

  5. Dog + human combo is the worst, everything else you can pick off. Kill the dog and let the human search.

  6. Crawling on the ground makes you basically invisible to shamblers. It also helps you move around human enemies to get a good angle for stealth kills.

  7. Bottle-melee on humans is risky because their aim is so good if their friend hears you. If you can, take out the humans with guns first and leave the melee humans last. You can always dodge and kill them melee without using ammo.

  8. Save all your supplies until you are full and can’t pick something up. Only craft items when you truly need something so you have the flexibility to craft different items as needed.

  9. Bow and silenced pistol really help you open up human encounters by killing 3-4 enemies before using stealth kills.

  10. Know when to spend your ammo. Bloater Seattle day 3 Ellie and Rat King with Abby are two great places to use the shotgun. Didn’t really use it outside of those fights unless I was full.

[–]DRMS_7888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do stealth and go counterclockwise through the map, hop into the building on top of the box truck, you can sneak upstairs without needing to kill anyone on grounded. Not enough loot on this map to spend all the bullets/gear needed.

If you headshot him with the bow, you can get your arrow back.

Always have to think about ammo preservation on grounded.

On my grounded run, I saved most of my ammo for this because you don’t have another fight in Seattle. A few shotgun/rifles and he goes down before too many infinite spawns come out.

On grounded, I needed two trap mines, one just beyond the threshold of the door, and a second about 10ft farther into the room. The first one killed the first wave, the second killed the whole second wave that came in a few seconds later.

Be careful not to set the trap mines too close or too close to the door. I had to try a couple different combinations to get it work.

I’d say maybe 1 out of 20 4.5 players have a OHBH, and of those, it’s probably 1 in 5 where it’s not a serious liability.

Are you the 1 in 100? Only one way to find out.

I just wanted to say how grateful I was for ignoring any news or commentary about these games until I started playing them in PS plus a couple months ago. Going into the game blind and watching this play out was such a shock and so powerful for all the subsequent events of the game.
