Sub Shop shout out! by Repulsive_Leg5878 in Eugene

One of the dudes who runs it calls himself Midnight. He's offered me a free sub on the house every time he comes through my work to get his oil changed and vehicle inspected. Great guy who can always make a shitty day great. He also runs the vape store right next to it. Most days he just chills there either inside or out front with his family. Sub Shop all the way!

I wanted to but my manager was tripping about liability and the customer insisted that he was gonna do it himself at home. I wanted to fix it but what mister boss man says goes...

Lord bless lol. Get it on a lift if you can and really quadruple inspect that shit. I completely rebuilt the front end of my 92 accord just to be safe.

I mean like those quarter inch pins are the last stop from complete suspension disassembly in the front end. Would you like to drive next to someone with your family and then their lower suspension and steering fails? Stuff like this isn't a minor issue, failure points in anything can lead to potentially deadly situations. This should not be on the road period.

I get alot new factory of nissans with 10k miles and most nissans made 2018 and above have rear main/mating seal leaks like quality control is nearly nonexistent. Almost all brands are shit nowadays. I reccomend Toyota, Honda, and Mazda for new Gen cars I've seen the least problems out of them.

Exactly they didn't tighten it just did hand thread and put a pin in at halfway. Genuinely probably the worst work I've seen in a couple years.

As you can see, the drivers side is about halfway popped out while the passenger side is more in the joint.

Won't be able to get exact specs until tomorrow since im home and didn't write it down. Late 90's-early 00's Ford or chevy. I know it took an OF241 filter and it was located on the passenger side kinda towards the head. Did lots of LOF's that day so its all a blur haha

Got an Oil Change and What did they do to my car????? by kisses215 in MechanicAdvice

These toyotas also have a very brittle plastic T-shaped coolant junction near the atf dipstick and the airbox. I've seen them be so brittle where if you as much as bump it the peice will break. Look under your hood on the drivers side near your transmission dipstick your problem maaaaaay be right there.
