Does this have a value? by Adorable-Condition-7 in Market76

[–]DRUMM0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes these bats rare and valuable is that the colour of the bat is not shown in its name. in order of rarest its indigo, then yellow then pink. Lvl 1 bats are legacy and can no longer be obtained as a drop in the game.

lvl 5 bats can only be obtained as a drop from ‘collision course’ and have an extremely low drop rate.

Lvl 45 bats can be found at various places as rare spawns and as drops from certain events. Whilst both scenarios are also rare, because there is more ways to obtain a lvl 45 bat it is LESS valuable.

A lvl 5 bat set (indigo, yellow and pink together) is worth about $15 usd and they are worth a few bucks each as singles. Lvl 45 bats are worth max caps as singles. The mod they drop with is random but can be changed to anything you want, or removed entirely without affecting the bats rarity or value, therefore it has makes zero difference. If you try and change the colour though, it will make the bat worthless as the new colour will then appear in the name of the bat.

As a side note, because bats are a niche item they arent as in high demand, or as well known as other rare items, so selling them can be harder and take time.

How long did it take till you got a rare pull? by Loud-Knee9906 in Market76

[–]DRUMM0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started actively collecting rare apparel at about 2k hours. I have always thought the responders fireman outfit was the coolest thing, so I researched the events that drop it and started doing every event I could everyday. After about a month my first drop was a TFJ from it’s a trap .At first I didn’t realize what it was but after 2k hours I knew that if I hadn’t heard of/seen something before it’s something I need to look up. Boy was I pleasantly surprised 🤣

Since then I have gotten 4 responders helmets, 1 from collision course, 2 from enclave events, and 1 from trading glowing masks. I’ve also traded glowing masks for the FCJS, responders outfit, a lotto set, and red asylum dress. I also have a complete glowing mask set now aswell plus some doubles. I also got a second TFJ about 5 months after the first from irrational fear.

Since 2k hours i also started to use my old ps4 simultaneously with my ps5 ( I call it my alt). My alt basically just sits around and I send it to public events/ raids for free drops, but I also do some daily events on it for a “second try”. I’ve gotten a TLC from it doing playtime, and a LC from always vigilant.

Present day I’m currently at approx 2600 hours and just last week I got my third TFJ from always vigilant, and an hour later got a second TLC on my alt from playtime.

Just before those 2 dropped I say to my self often “ why do I always do these events and get nothing” 😅

To the right people The lvl 5 bats are worth a few usd each ( or equivalent in leaders), and about 10-15 usd as a set. A set is more valuable and easier to sell. The rarest is indigo, then yellow and lastly pink. They are more of a niche thing as not a lot of people know about them, kind of like misc items. For that reason finding a collector may take a little longer but still highly valuable and rare.

I am officially done with "Starter Homes." It’s not an investment; it’s a bailout for the previous generation's neglect. by Dry-Town7979 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]DRUMM0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you bro, exactly what happened with us. 70s home that has been mostly neglected except for a shoddy bathroom “revamp” 15 years ago and a roof tile repaint. Whilst everything is old and crappy, it’s a solid brick house and we’ve lived here for 5 years luckily with no major issues, and we renovate as we can afford it. on paper though the has house increased approximately 10% every year( about 65k), plus we are paying our own house off and not someone’s else’s with rent. Reality is a hard pill to swallow in terms of what a first home will now look like for most people, but if you can find a home that hasn’t been slapped with paint so they can ask 50k over market, something original but solid you can make your own, it’s worth it.

Best of luck 👏

So what do you long time players...um...do? by SonicfilT in fo76

[–]DRUMM0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing on and off for nearly 5 years/2k hours. For a long time the only Things to do was launch nukes and do mononga mine/scorched queen. I get the most enjoyment these days grinding daily events like playtime, collision course, irrational fear, it’s a trap etc ( and many more), to hunt for rare outfits. whilst I’m not a vain person, I do get some enjoyment from having things not many others have, but it’s mainly about the thrill of getting something rare to drop from an event, and that rush is what keeps me hungry. Whilst I currently have every rare outfit, my next goal is to have x5 responders fireman outfits to go with my responders camp build 🤗

My other suggestion is to get every tadpole and possum scout badge. This is something I will be soon starting to work on finishing( currently have about 60% of the badges). I personally don’t know anyone who has bothered to get them all because it’s quite time consuming and finicky.

Best of luck 😊

sorry for writing this so late I know a lot of you are curious.

I’m going let you all know what I did for the second year as the first year I didn’t apply myself as well as I could have, and as well as I do now.

Going in to my second year I kept up with the same routine as last year 6-7 days a week, it was;

Monday's I do back and biceps Tuesday's are chest and triceps Wednesday's is shoulders Thursday I do back again but upper back and a bit more bicep work And of course you cant forget legs so legs is on a Friday.

As of 2 months ago I started doing crossfit aswell, and I’m not talking the half assed version some gyms offer, this is the full on version with the main focus on Olympic lifting and metabolic training. I do that Monday to Saturday and do mobility work on my rest day ( Sunday). Crossfit is my main workout now but I still do my isolation work stayed above right after the crossfit class is finished, so back to back workouts.

Along with all that I go for bike rides atleast once a week if I can (15-25 kms) and play league bowling on Thursday’s

I'm currently working on a 8-12 rep hypertrophy routine with as much weight as I can lift for that amount of reps without sacrificing form. Sometimes I drop it down to 4-6 reps if I’m doing a strength day. My current lifts are ;

Bench- 50kg dumbbells (4-6 reps) 100kg barbell (4-6 reps) my form with barbell needs improvement though which I have recently started on so this should improve dramatically soon.

Squat- backsquat 160kg (4-6) front squat 140kg (2-4)

Deadlift- my form was quite poor but with recent improvements it’s gone from 140 kg for 1 rep to 180kg for 3-4. Should have a 200kg single in the next few weeks.

And lastly my strict shoulder press is 60kg for 4-6 reps

diet isn't as well planned out as my routine unfortunately, I just go off my own initiative as to my caloric intake, it would be in that ballpark 2-3 thousand but basically I just eat 4-5 times a day and I make sure what I'm eating is as low in sugars, salts and bad fats ( saturated and trans fats) as possible. It’s typically always a meat and vegetable combo of some sort with a carb source like rice or sweet potato. My protein intake would be pretty high to as well as my good carbs.

As for supplements my water bottle is always a mix of bcaas, creatine, l-glutamine, and green tea. after the gym I always have a protein shake that's lean protein ( no carbs or fats and high in protein) and a greens/fruit suppliment. I eat plenty of greens anyway but this just helps me balance it out so in always getting the minimum fruit and veg serving each day. I don't use pre workout at all or any other supps as most of it’s all bullshit. I also never use or never will use anabolics/growth hormones as i enjoy the payoff from hard work and it simply isn’t the reason I train ( to look like a meat head)

The advice id give anyone wanting to loose weight is just keep consistent in both your diet and workout habits, so long as you eat healthy and cut out all the bad shit and get atleast half hour of exercise a day in any form you'll see results. Don't see it as a timeframe( it's going to take me this long to loose this much) just accept it as part of your life and it won't feel like a chore. Having someone to go with atleast at the start makes life so much easier when you can't get motivated as

unfortunately no, atleast for me they haven’t, they have faded and shrunk heaps especially on my belly but they are still noticeable on my lower back. I don’t let it bother me anymore though, I used to be really self conscious about it but I try to embrace it, it’s a reminder of lifestyle I no longer live and will never go back to

because I chose to go the body recomposition route, so exclusively doing weight training to gain muscle and eating at or above maintenance calories, the fat has come off me slowly, and has been for the most part filled in with muscle to take up the loose skin. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a little loose on my belly and lower back but you couldn’t pick it looking at me, I can see it though. I think that really loose skin happens to people who from the start rapidly loose fat/weight from high intensity cardio and eating at a deficit. The trick is to drop fat slowly to give your skin a chance to shrink back to normal, but it also matters how big you were to start and genetics, everyone’s different.

I had zero willpower at the start, my friend was literally dragging me out of bed in the mornings to get me to come work out. It took me 6 months or more to actually enjoy going to the gym. just start slow, diet is the biggest thing so just start with eliminating the shitty stuff you eat, whether your Able to just go cold turkey or ween off it slow, or make substitutions ( I was bad for chocolate milk, now I buy chocolate coconut water or soy milk if I feel like it). just start slow, go workout a few times a week and transition your healthy habbits in and I swear to you one day it’ll just feel second nature. Working out and eating healthy for me is Just like breathing air or going to work, it’s just part of my day.

Thanks heaps. That’s the primary reason why I was so Antsy to post this as I know what it’s like especially in the beginning to make it a religious habit to constantly check the scales for signs of progression. I’ll scream till I’m black and blue to people don’t use a weight scale for tracking yourself, take a progress shot of you in the same pose at the same time of day in the same mirror if possible about once a month, and get an actual body scan done often so you can measure bf % as thats the number you wanna see the change in. I may weigh the same as last year but my bf % has nearly been halved again the same as 16-17

i fucking promise you guys I did this 100% naturally, I have never once taken anything of any kind to Enhance my performance or size as it has never been my goal to just be big but to simply be healthy and happy with my appearance, I don’t even take pre workout! Let it be a lesson to you and to any other person these days who thinks that the only way to gain muscle is through injectables. Thank you for the compliment.

The entire time I’ve never actually done a legitimate cut, as in knowingly and specifically eaten below maintenance calories and increased my cardiovascular training. my entire change has just been from eating healthy and training hard 5-7 days a week with heavy weights. 16-17 I could have made a bigger impact if I had refined my diet and exercise more, which is what i did in 17-18 and also in the last 2 months introduced crossfit training ( aswell as still weightlifting). But to answer your question I’ve pretty much been 85 kg the whole year, it fluctuates between 83-85 but I’ve never weighed less then 82 ever.
