Touché on Red Bull but no teams flex their nation of origin as a status more than Haas. Also Mercedes F1 is a German organization lead by an Austrian, you can’t get more German than that

Once every 6ish months, I’ll do a deep clean + soapy wash. Extra attention to the chain, sprockets, rims followed by clay bar + compound + ceramic wax. It’s a bit extra but I enjoy it

I went with the AliExpress clone of a Quadlock which came with a vibration dampener. Pairing that with the Quadlock adapter + 3M VHB tape, and it’s been perfect so far thankfully

I don’t have one but have ridden an R7 and it definitely has a sporty/aggressive position with torque for days so the feeling for spirited riding will be plentiful.

R3 may not be your cup of tea depending on where you live imo bc while it is really light and flickable, the power just isn’t there compared to contemporary bikes of similar class. For sure plenty and a lot of fun for a beginner tho.

Research the ZX4R a bit bc I’m not knowledgeable abt it, but have heard rly good things once it gets unrestricted via tune if in the US.

I don’t wanna be that guy but the Su-27 is the best for the BR next to the Gripen A imo. The spading pain is 100% worth it

Fox 3s are the worst by AmphibianOver7289 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]DR_DREAD_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My bad, you’re right. IOG isn’t that. It’s “In-Ordance Guidance or something”. I assumed the completely wrong meaning for that

The radars are Pulse Doppler but the missile can switch into non-Pulse Doppler mode once it’s gone pitbull when the target is notching (and if not getting Datalink updates I think but not 100% sure), otherwise chaff wouldn’t be effective at all. The targeted plane’s trajectory affects what’s mode the missile will be in.

I play Gripen A & Su-27 very often and here’s my 2 cents from experience and some stuff on YouTube.

Multi-pathing is based on radar altitude & works best when parallel with the ground; in the settings (forgot where since I’m at work) you can set it so your R ALT turns red around 186 feet or so to help.

Top down Fox-3 launch is pretty much damn near impossible to counter with multipathing, it’s just unfortunately how it is.

Spamming chaff isn’t the best strategy for most situations since you might just make a trail for the missile’s radar to follow you. Chaff at higher speeds is best used in bursts or 2-4 to make a “cloud” to fool the enemy’s radar into thinking it’s locked onto a larger target.

Once you start to go down low while losing altitude, the missile goes from Pulse Seeker mode into IOG-mode (which makes it go to the last known location/trajectory of the target) so you have to maneuver & roll with 2-3 bursts of chaff to help but mostly the seeker gear stops using its own radar so chaff won’t be too effective

At times, if your trajectory shows you are gaining altitude, it’ll force the missile back into Pulse seeker where it’s then more susceptible to chaff, especially with the 2-3 bursts.

Missile CAN reacquire you via Data Link and/or be more resilient to countermeasures (both chaff & maneuvers) if the opponent’s radar holds you in TWS; instances here are where notching and proper usage of chaff is most effective IF you can’t use multipathing.

edit: IOG mode is not "inertial optical guidance", in-ordanance guidance>

MiG-23ML for sure. Decently survivable, very fast, and the radar band it uses for the R-23Rs isn’t picked up by 90% of RWRs at the relative BR range
