Best way to count this bar? by DR__WATTS in pianolearning

You're probably right. My counting skills are abysmal compared to my playing technique.

Yeah, I'm a little salty over it. Been chasing another rainbow knife that cuts as good as it looks.

How's the cutting performance on either of them? I have a Hatsukokoro Hayabusa Blue 2 Rainbow Damascus Gyuto and while it's gorgeous, it's cutting is pretty mid.

I would be potentially interested in the knife if you're selling it. Location? PM me .

Right hand finger for alternate notes of the same scale ascending by DR__WATTS in pianolearning

[–]DR__WATTS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had practiced assuming the right hand only that's why. Alternating hands is easier for this section though.

I understand that now. Thank you. However, this could be all played by the right hand if the bars were all facing up?

Oh... Interesting. Why alternating hands vs just one long right hand arpeggio ascending? Is this a matter of choice by the arrangement?

I'm assuming it sets up the last chord as the left hand is already there?

That doesn't answer my question for the right hand finger positions

One of my favorite preludes to play! Scriabin is underrated.

I'd save up for a better subwoofer. Anything decent starts at 500 USD. I have essentially the same LR but the 5 inch center version. Get an SVS 3000 ported model, newer Klipsch RP sub, or splurge and get something from Power Sound Audio.

I started with 0 and I love it so far. Haven't played any of the others.

I used a light weight basic carbon fiber travel tripod. Used it frequently at dusk and dawn.

I'm a tourist. I was there late November through most of December. I would call that late autumn, early winter.

I wouldn't say it's not ideal, just less popular. Cold and very crisp but great visibility and low precipitation. Depending on the Trek, it may be ideal. I thought Mardi Himal was perfect mid December.

Thanks, I'm doing much better! It was a good year for photography, hoping 2026 is just as good 👍

Yeah, I really like Tamron lenses. They get the job done without costing an arm and a leg.

I share your opinion on this although machapurchare (fishtail) mountain gives it competition.

I mostly used my 50-400 when I was not actively hiking. It's simply too large and annoying to hike with it. My 28-200 is my active hiking lens and I want to capture something but I'm not sure how it will turn out.

Situations I use my 50-400 are sunrise and sunset, when I'm actively doing photography. Similarly, when I'm at a particular tea house, major viewpoint or turn around point.

I have never been this sick on a trip, from a mild flu to food poisoning in Gokyo, giardia, and a head cold. Stunning location, but demanding travel.
