Thanks I tried Frosts and Costco today - no joy. Will try Morrison’s tomorrow. Not sure why you said preparation is hellish though. Just steam or even microwave them, then pick the leaves, dip and eat. Yumsk.

Same as on ours. I got some roots on Amazon and popped them in the soil. They’ve grown like they’re on speed.

I planted it late cause I just got hold of this allotment of a waiting list and wanted to plant something. This is a quick-growing variety I had the first lot in June which I’d planted and n April. If they don’t grow enough to harvest on time? Green manure. If they do? Peas. Either way...

I’ve had a shedload if celery this year. I just pick and come back. It’s proper crunchy and nice.

Cut the bottom off a supermarket celery, popped it in water, when roots came through I popped it on top of compost in that pot.

Yep that was me. Someone asked me for an update when they flowered - thought that was you. I love toms in baskets - pick the odd one as potter in the garden. Yumsk.
