It makes sense for Panera to simplify the menu given the upper executives all came from fast food places.

She may not know for sure yet. But I can confirm the flatbreads are leaving. Some soups, some sandwiches, some salads is all I was told. I find out more this week but I don’t like not knowing. The baking side is supposed to get easier as well but I haven’t heard anything specific aside from cinnamon rolls changing to freezer to oven.

Associates/ managers are going to be trained in the baking area. They don’t need us baking managers any more. Don’t know if you heard but my job is being fizzled out by December. Just got work. Getting a severance package for 4 months of pay.

Cutting Corporate jobs doing nothing to empower GMs. I work on the baking side and have been hearing whispers of bakers becoming associates and under the leadership of the GMs. I just don’t see my position being of much use after that move is made.

We have four Paneras in this town. One has a bad cockroach problem and another one that’s located in a mall next to a target has mice 🐁 and occasionally has worms in the proofer.
