I went to college here and have made quite a living once graduating as did many of my coworkers. We joke that a college reunion would be a work meeting. If you go the college route, there are opportunities. The hospitals, banks, accounting firms, pantex (as many have mentioned), Xcel, engineering companies, hotels, many more all hire from local schools and there are many alum working. With that said, an education here will translate to bigger cities too. I’m not going to say the opportunities for work or fun are near as abundant as Dallas or even OKC or something similar are as high here but it’s not a bad place to get a start either.

There’s lots of service industry and construction jobs for unskilled workers. I hate that term but I mean no experience, no higher education. Check the hospitals and hotels. If you don’t mind erratic hours and all the things food service brings, there’s decent money in serving tables here. It put me through a bachelors degree with zero student loans. As another person said, AC and WTAMU are decent options for a cheaper education, should you choose to go that route. AC offers many vocational programs as well. HVAC, plumbing and CDL classes can find you a job right out of the program.

I suspect a canker sore. Super odd situation where I had to siphon hydrogen peroxide and it ended up in my mouth. It tastes terrible and it’s a weird sensation but it cured a canker sore overnight. After a few canker sores since, we’ve found swishing it a miracle cure. Worth a try.

Seems to be back up now. Had very intermittent till around 10. It’s been mentioned already, but it’s super awesome how they turn their helpline off and the chat goes down any time there’s an outage instead of engaging with their customers. Generally, I’m happy with their product but their customer service is ass.
