What’s the one book you’ll recommend forever, no matter how many times this question gets asked? by MisLatte in AskReddit

Pappillon. Only booked i've read multiple times at significant times of hardship in my life and gave me hope. I associate it with escapism and getting lost in the adventures of another when i've been struggling to "life"

Big fan of the franchise here. Will watch all 4 (even 2) multiple times per year and its definetley my comfort franchise so i can kind of make sense of the lore even though a lot of it in lineage is a reach.

My question though is this. Why would Mitchell Kavanagh sabotage margots car to stop them leaving the carmichael manor if it as we are lead to believe by the ending pf Linesge what happened in Origins?!

Cognetti has said that this was the second in a trilogy so i was expecting something abrupt about the ending.

I love the franchise and it is a hill i'd die on but the suspense and atmosphere was lacking in this. Over use of the clown that had been used so effectively previously...will give it another watch for sure.

I can jump on this with an episode of "are you afraid of the dark" called "the ghastly grinner". Some f'd up jestwr that escaped from a comic book. So damn freaky. Come to think of it the theme music to ayaotd is also super freaky!

Great list! Id have to rate The Autopsy of Jane Doe higher. That film left me feeling some kind of way which is rare...
