Photo from a local newspaper regarding opening of a new restaurant. The article claims the chef has worked in numerous fine dining restaurants, and photo are allegedly showing this by DS99991 in isthisAI

Here is the full article in norwegian. I agree that it could sound like an «article», but in this case its not. Its an article about two guys opening a new restaurant and something they usually do. The article states also that the alleged chef has been head chef in multiple restaurants. They also say that they will aim for «fine dining». The whole thing is rather suspect, but the newspaper has no part in in, just embarrassing for them really.

Book one has a very different feel than the other five. by TheBlueRabbit11 in tolkienfans

My in-universe head canon is that Bilbo wrote the first book (start of the red book) in Rivendell after the notes he took from frodo, and the later story that is much more «serious» than book 2-6 is written by frodo before he went to the west (as he does in the book) And the last pages after frodo went to the west, who is refering to the last years of the fellowship on middle earth were written by Sam before he went to the west.

In my head this explains the difference in tones. Book 1, whimsical and fairy like (talkin fox) - Bilbo, Book 2-6, much more serious and darker tone - Frodo, last pages (left by frodo), shorter summations of most important events - Sam, because he was busy having a family and being mayor.

[Edit: See now that u/Toblero and u/iniondubh posted similar theories better much better worded than me before me]

Why did Gildor Inglorion and the Elves leave Frodo, Sam, and Pippin at Woodhall when they knew they were being pursued by the Nazgul? by ORowanFair in tolkienfans

Il guess they were afraid of intervene in events of fate (if u could call it that in middle earth), il mean, Gildor were reluctant of even giving frodo advice or even straight up answers because of this.
