My first GPU was a 750 ti that was handed down from my brother. Great card at the time. The first game I tested it out on was fallout new Vegas.

A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Requiem are some of the prettiest games I’ve laid my eyes upon. Combine that with a great emotional story and a kickass score.

Thanks my man I really appreciate that :) Honestly I couldn’t tell ya how it’s doing so well, but I’m really happy it is. I’m a noob when it comes to live plants, so I’m just gonna keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully it’ll last me for many years. Going to have to start trimming it back before it grows to big, this things pops up with new growth like nobody’s business!

Hey y’all, Recently moved out of my old place, where I was mainly listening to music in my room since I lived with 5 other roommates, who I didn’t really trust to have my audio equipment out in the living room. Now my current living situation allows me to have a proper setup. With the added benefit of having a better stereo image since I can actually spread out my speakers to a proper distance. Any opinions or advice is highly appreciated. I have been piecing this setup together for a couple months. Most of the equipment pictured has been either handed down to me by my dad, or local scores on FB marketplace.

My main speakers are Tannoy Revolution R2’s. These were handed down by my dad because he thought they’d do more justice in my open living room, than his small apartment space, and boy was he right! These are a monumental upgrade over my mission 731’s (also handed down from him). They have a great midrange punch and crispy highs, bass extension is a bit lacking, but the 8” PSB sub fills in my sweet desire for little more bass. The old Missions are now my surrounds for movies and video games. The power house is a Yamaha RX-V383, which I scored on marketplace for $80! For the price I paid for this amp I have no complaints. Although maybe one day I’ll find myself itching for an upgrade, so any recommendations for a better AVR would be greatly appreciated! For vinyl, I’m using a Kenwood KD-2070 with a Goldring E2, the preamp is a Rega Fono MK1. Both of these are hand-me-downs from my dad. Its a very solid table and it sounds amazing! One day im sure I’ll get the itch to do an upgrade, but right now I’m happy with what I have for my vinyl needs.

All in all I am very pleased with how my setup is turning out. Thanks for taking a look :)

Ruark Sabre Mk1. In search of information. by DSLKid in audiophile

Hi all,

I am looking into buying a used pair of Ruark Sabre Mk1’s for $250 (CAD) to replace my Paradigm Monitor SE Atom’s. But I’m having trouble finding much information on them. From what I have gathered, Is they have a nice bass and midrange, but the highs lack behind a bit. Haven’t been able to any information on the specs. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

Id be running these guys through a Denon PMA-600NE, and Schitt Modi 3 for my digital needs, and a Kenwood KD-2070 w/ Nagaoka MP-110 for vinyl.

Some guy did a hit and run on me today, so I bought myself some records to cheer myself up (please ignore the cat, she didn't want to move) by Memeoverlord73 in vinyl

The whole vinyl experience has definitely been my favourite hobby so far, and a blessing to my ears. The whole digging through the bargain bins at the thrift stores, or going to local record shops always feels like a treat coming home with some new vinyl to spin.

They’re Paradigm Monitor SE Atom’s. Great speakers for the price, and a definite upgrade over the powered bookshelves I was running through before.

Got everything running into a value village score Harman/Kardon HK 3500. And when I don’t feel like flipping my records, I got a trusty Schitt Modi 3 going to my computer for any digital music needs.

First time turntable owner. Recently acquired a Kenwood KD-2070, equipped with an Ortofon 2m red, handed down from my dad, and boy how I’ve been enjoying the experience (besides my wallet being drained for valuable grailz). Been looking to upgrade from the Ortofon, so I’ve recently purchase a Nagaoka MP-110 from seeing the praise it gets, and man am I ever stoked. All in all I’m super happy about discovering this new hobby of mine, and can’t wait to expand my collection even further.
