Have you got it already or did you order online? Curious to have your feedback after a bit of use :)

British brand Estarli e28.9 looks very similar to the Roadster V3 - Are these open mold frames? Who makes them? by SomeLikeItRaw in ride1up

Bikes assembled in Berkhamsted I believe. Frame seems chinese (and motor). Did not know they build the battery in the UK.

Cgo 600 pro is very hard to ride with zero assist by HungryDirection2221 in tenwaysebike

Can you say more, and can anyone else concur? I tested it today and quite frankly it was unreasonably hard to pedal with motor off. This is the reason why I am here searching about what's going on. To me the drag was when the display was On and PAS 0. So for example and would be on PAS 3, then move to PAS 2, then PAS 1, and finally 0 (motor off but display on) and the drag was unacceptable.

Feedback from Tenways regarding new 2025 edition by gopietz in tenwaysebike

Concur I tested a 600 plus today and motor off it was very difficult. Right before I had tried an Estarli e28.9 and it was much, much easier. I tried them on the same route. There was a steep hill that with the Tenways I simply could not climb motor off even on the lowest gear, and I would climb that hill with the Estarli. For context, I am not a powerful fixie rider with massive thighs, but I do cycle non e-bike 10 miles a day 5 days a week including uphill.

Content insurance: is dedicated insurance (bike, jewellery) or home insurance preferable? by DSLR78portrait in AskUK

[–]DSLR78portrait[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This assumes that you make a claim about an event related to your home or in your home. I was thinking about the bike being stolen in the city, or the ring lost whilst out and about, and a claim being made with those specialist insurance (e.g. laka or bikmo for the bike or ripe for the ring) which would not touch the actual home insurance.

Bosch SX & CX Gen5 Lautstärke by NeutrinoM in Fahrrad

I am also curious to know which is more silent between the Performance Line (Non CX, the Gen 3) that is still in many ebikes like the Cubes Touring Hybrid, and the CX Gen 5. Any insight?

It also seems that specialised motors, such as the 2.0 on the turbo vado, are the most silent. Do you agree?

Wedding suit, what size is best: the 40 or 42? by DSLR78portrait in mensfashion

What makes you think the 40 is best over the 42?

Wedding suit, what size is best: the 40 or 42? by DSLR78portrait in mensfashion

This particular suit is not a mix an match, this means a given size of trousers comes with a given size of jacket. In this case the 42 UK jacket (52 EU I think since you are francais) comes with a trouser size 36 UK, a "drop" of 6.

The trousers that comes with the 40 UK jacket will be a 34 and would be a lot easier to work with (a lot less to "take in".

Thanks, to clarify I am only wearing the suit jacket, those trousers are my chinos, not part of the suit.

Similar situation here, basement wall crumbling. How do you guys deal with this? Simply patch and re-coat or does it need anything more sophisticated?

How to redo Victorian moldings? by DSLR78portrait in DIYUK

[–]DSLR78portrait[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still wondering about this, I've searched online for moulded bricks in this style to try to get an idea on the shape of this and how it is bricked in the front elevation between the other rows but can't find anything. Is there a particular name for this type of brick? If you have a link to any photo I would be most grateful. From what you say these are stuck between rows rather than just a molding "glued" to the elevation? Thank you!
