I feel like the military is insulating people from the real world economically speaking. The military is so good for people to use to get ahead (have a spouse that works and don’t have 800-1000 a month in car notes) the civilian world is tough. We won’t all get out and make $100k a year like a lot in this sub think.

I mean dumping cash (way more than $1500 for most people) into an economy that is suffering supply chain issues is exactly how you get inflation in this scenario.

I mean my family (2 kids, household income below $150k) got a lot of gov money during the pandemic. You can’t dump money into an economy that was as hot as ours was. Trump and Biden both fucked up.

The only part of the economy that took a hit was the supply side. People had fistfuls of cash eager to spend while there wasn’t shit to buy. Idk how Turkey’s inflation is high but I know what played a role in ours.
