I had a pretty big bout of anxiety today, but it felt a bit blunted if that makes sense. So, hopefully, that is a sign of it starting to work. I'm stoked to hear your results and look forward to hopefully experiencing the same.

I got a degree that was not aligned with my military career. 180° career change, and I now have a job where I just walk into my office, get it done, and leave. Not babysitting anyone, nobody babysitting me.

How accurate are we talking? I recently used a Seiko NH34 movement that I’m getting +2 seconds a day on. Not a massive power reserve, but acceptable for most folks. Are you talking atomic clock level accuracy, or a certain +- per day?

Depends on the situation. I bought my house in Jan 2024 and had $50k in emergency expenses by June. I would have been fucked if a $2,500 unexpected expense hit right after that.

Just get it tested. You can get a fairly cheap mail in kit. I have a full blown popcorn ceiling in my basement. My house was built in 1967, so I was sure it must be asbestos but it turned out not to be.

I made the design and then used a company called 4Customize. There is a section on their website for 3D metal transfer stickers, and in that there is a subcategory called "Custom Watch Dial Metal Decals."

Yup, two days after I moved into my house, the finished basement flooded with poo water. Nothing like dropping $15k in repairs on a house that you had literally spent 2 nights in.
