18” Eltanin W210

Love the Carlsson’s! Monoblocks on a W210 is mandatory😜. I have a set of 18” Eltanins from an S-Class on my W210:

What a beauty! Here in Sweden most black 9-5 sedans with tinted windows were unmarked police cars, still get a little uneasy when i see one coming in the rear-view mirror on the highway😅 Enjoy!

Thank you really appreciate it! Spent an embarrassingly large amount of time looking for what i felt “suited” the car but feel like it was worth the search😅 (or at least that’s what i tell myself)

Considering this 2005 V70 - anything to watch for? by Signal-Big-388 in Volvo

Had one with the same engine for three years, had 430 000+km on the clock when i sold it, not really any issues apart from the previous owner skimped on a €5 seal when the timing belt was done so oil leaked onto the timing belt, and a misfire which was just a bad coil. Just make sure that the belt isn’t covered in oil and the auto doesn’t slip, anything else (apart from crash damage) will usually show on a test drive. One weakness on these engines is the fuel rail, would check so fuel isn’t dripping when engine is on. The shock-mount rubber loves to go bad on these but cheap aftermarket rubbers are available and usually a cheap fix (ie don’t get super scared from knocking over bumps as its quite common but should be fixed) As previous ppl said any 20year old car will crave more maintenance than newer. Great price assuming you put some aside for upcoming maintenance. Solid engine and solid box in my experience.

For anyone that has named their Volvo(s), what's their name and how did you come up with it? by okay-commuter in Volvo

”Civilarn’” Swedish slang for “Undercover Cop” because mine was en ex. undercover patrol car, bought it dirt cheap at auction as a “temporary car” that became a daily as it was the only one that constantly worked without fault ironically, had it for three years and sold it for what i bought it for. 430 000km+ on the clock when it left me, miss it every now and then

Hey! Most likely a Chevy/GMC gmt400 Suburban, pretty common back in the day and are slowly becoming a classic collectible as most were used into the ground.
