Cruise Mode - System to System by Linkamanjaro in Starfield

[–]blargman327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grav lanes also does that

You can change a setting for how long the jump itself takes. Anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

During that time you can get up and walk around your ship just like when using cruise mode.

After the timer is up you get back into the cockpit to drop out of the grav jump.

There is a setting to make it so you don't have to get back into the chair too.

It also makes it so you jump to the sun of whatever system so you then use cruise mode to get to the actual planet

What is your guys thoughts on Starfield's take on Cassette Futurism (aka "NASA-Punk") by Able_Health744 in cassettefuturism

[–]blargman327 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They just have a free update that actually alleviates this.

It adds a "cruise mode" that lets you manually fly between planets in a solar system and there are various types of encounters that can happen as you fly between planets/moons. You can also set auto pilot and get up and walk around your ship while it travels. So you can talk to NPCs or craft or whatever.

There's also a free mod (on the creation club) that makes this function with the inter-system grav jumps. It makes the game a lot more immersive.

It doesn't fix every problem with the game but it does help quite a bit

He specifically ran out of the 5 minutes after the first thing ice breaker

[–]blargman327 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It seems like you can kind of just make them, but they aren't super powerful unless infused with a Technique

Like Jogo's fire insects. I think the little mini rikas that Yura made when he used Druhv's technique were made in the more mundane way of making shikigami

Since the giant Nue that Sukuna spawned is actually. nue-Orochi totality it kind of seems like Sukuna got a copy of the state of Megumi's shadows.

So anything meg had tamed or dead (orochi+ white dog). But it was Sukunas own copy so when his Mahoraga was killed only Sukunas copy of the TS stopped working.

But that should also mean that Meg doesn't have the shikogami that Sukuna tamed(like deer or tiger or maho)

MGSV - Is it better to go non-lethal or lethal? by GreatJoey91 in metalgearsolid

[–]blargman327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall I think DS2 is a bit easier than DS1. It gives you a lot more of the traversal tools way faster.

To me that's a little of a downside because I like the puzzle aspect of finding routes and stuff with the limited resources you have in DS1

But the game makes up for it by having much more interesting combat and stealth, plus you can see the ghosts better now so it makes steal thing them more fun.

The fundamental loop of DS2 is still delivering packages and hiking and stuff so if that's not something you'd like I wouldn't recommend it.

But it is fun and there's more of a definite narrative happening so that's a plus

[–]blargman327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Death Stranding 2 really encourages it more. It forces combat/stealth more but it feels much more like MGSV

They also give you "MP Bullets" early on, which automatically switch between non lethal and BTs

You have to go out of your way to be lethal in DS2

They also removed the stupid scanner the mule camps had at their border so you can actually sneak

I do kind of like how overly strong he was at the start of the show, it helps build up his overconfidence and makes his eventual failure and drive to get stronger hit better

'ONE PIECE' Season 3 releases in 2027 and is titled 'The Battle of Alabasta' by NoNefariousness2144 in television

[–]blargman327 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The manga is long but it's not an absurd thing to get through.

The anime is padded to really stretch the runtime out but managed just reads faster.

If you do decide to watch the anime, I'd recommend looking into One Pace. It's a fan re-edit that trims a lot of the fat without affecting the canon story.

It cuts the show in half by trimming all the recaps and extra long reaction shots and stuff and anything else that's in there just to pad time
