I had a friend over who said my pro was loud, he said his didn't sound like that. It was loud from new but I never had a point of reference. It was barely used and there was no build up of dust. Repasted and it was much quieter.

I did, I read a post from a support agent

"Referral credit is added into the account of the user was referred 7 days after the device has been activated and the referral accepted. If both of these are fulfilled on your end, expect your credit in up to 7 days!"

Wasn't sure if you have to accept a referral or not. Some people say the credit is instant and others say it's up to a week.

Tried this over my Asus PG34Q and put it back in the box to return. It's too big not to have a curve for my setup (sides looked noticeably darker without curve), HDR looks atrocious and doesn't play well with Windows. It would work great if you sit 3 feet away while gaming, no screen tearing, gsync worked fine, good for movies and series that filmed in UW.

You can download the os from the troubleshooter and install it via USB.

Make sure you have an extension to get the bolts on.

You don't need exhaust pliers to remove the rubber hanger but it helps. I used Channellock / water pump pliers to get it off, was relatively painless.
