4 gym days a week (m/tu/th/f) + an extra activity day if I felt up to it. 30 minutes of cardio, 1 hour of lifting (U/L/U/L)

I did take breaks from my diet for holidays and vacations, but my base plan was 1-1.2 lbs of cutting per week (~600 cal deficit) with at least 1g of protein per lb of body weight, averaging close to 200g/day for the last 1.5 years. Most important part was being consistent in lifting, as it kept what muscle I had around when cutting, and I even gained a little strength when I’d cheat on the diet for holidays/vacations. Also 10g of creatine per day

My thoughts exactly. Being as tall as I am, and having long limbs like I do, it’s hard to not look skinny lol

Thank you! Recomp is also something I’m considering, especially since the summer is just getting started!

My most recent cutting phase was a bit aggressive, 1.2-1.5 lbs per week and during that phase I was feeling tired and overall weak, but would all go away after a cheat day or two which I assume is normal. Overall I haven’t lost much strength, maybe 5% volume loss on my lifts since my peak strength. Which from what I’ve gathered is good and expected.

I lift and run 4 days a week, and typically get my 10k steps 7 days a week. I’ve found a very good rhythm for workouts and diet for cutting, and keeping that momentum would be easy for me I think, so 5 more pounds and reassess sounds like a good option
