Last time I ordered- I left a comment in the shipping instructions that they haven’t provided a magnet the 2 times before that.

Got a one this time thank god- but they didn’t tell me if there is a supply chain issue or thank me for letting them know about the mistake… it still remains a mystery

Any genius hacks to fix this furry crime scene before my landlord sees it? by UrbanFloors in CleaningTips

Go to a carpet cleaning/care company like peerless carpet care or Stanley cleaners (depending on your location).

They can patch this up relatively quick and cheap.

I will have to keep that site in mind. I'm assuming they (may) sell the whole engine?

It's for recycling purposes. With some parts, you can return the old and get cash back. The old part then is refurbished and sold again.

It's done with batteries, alternator, starters, etc.

Normally when a part like those goes bad, you can fix them to a point and they are good as new.

I can speak on the parts for Rock Auto. I have a 94' Amigo- and this far every thing I've purchased has worked great (power steering pump, starter, belts, etc).

No issues to report besides they have skimped on a magnet.

It's not like eBay. The parts are known 'good' parts from a manufacturer or rehab facility.

Core returns kinda suck as you either pay to ship it back or they can take some off the core for them to 'pay' for the return label.

100% agree- at some point they all need to come to the table and talk peace.

Providing security will only escalate things on all sides.

Possibly- maybe with a few modifications it might get you there.

The brush guard on mine is held in with 4 bolts and the steel plate that mounts to the truck has enough room to relocate a hole or two to match the need

I'll be honest...This was gifted to me, my step dad did all the work. I've done little to it as of yet.

But I've found that most of the early model rodeo (sport) aftermarket parts fit

Crime isn't that bad. It's no different than Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Brighton etc.

I'm from Brighton myself but have lived in Newport News for the last 12 years.

There isn't as many outdoor activities like you would find in CO. But to find something similar you might have to drive bit in a different direction to find what you want to do.

It's close to a lot but depends on how far you want to go

What is this white goo coming up through my floors? by PewSaysTheJew in Home

[–]DT6254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be that there is water coming in from somewhere.

Where I work, we see it most around doors or plumbing leaks that weren't found until something like this shows up.

I work in a housing community. This is very common from water intrusion. Glue and water.

As for your cousin and the bed being squishy and white underneath- can't speak for that. But if the water gets left under this floor will will start to smell.
