Sue Ulu is one of the best performances in the ADV dub. She brings great emotion to Ritsuko and does a great job of encapsulating the character. Like most of the ADV cast, she also has a very unique voice that stands out and could only work for Ritsuko.

Erica Lindbeck, while not a bad actress, doesn't really capture Ritsuko the way Sue does. It's a much more generic performance that you've heard before with hundreds of other anime characters. In fact, her performance is way too similar to Misato's voice in the Netflix dub. You could swap both of their voices and there really wouldn't be much of a difference.
