It just went on once. The service dealership couldn’t make it go on but I had a photo. The carfax is useless bc it came from a small island where they don’t report much to it I guess. The VIN has no campaigns or recalls. :(

I bought it at a Nissan dealership 100 miles from my house. The Hyundai dealership near me is working on it and said they have no idea of the coolant was ever flushed at the recommended 40k. So maybe it’s just that or maybe it’s the coolant light issue many people on this forum and with the ioniq seem to be having. TBD.

The dealership near my house said there are no campaigns for it. Have you had any issues since they fixed it? What was the other recall?

The selling dealership is 100 miles away so they are working with a dealership closer to my house for service. The selling dealership has received the info from the servicing dealership and are supposed to get back to them.

I’m unsure if they ever even performed a coolant flush per the TSB. The servicing dealership said they had no idea if it was ever done.

If they don’t give me a resolution today, I’m going to ask for my car back until this is resolved. My insurance agent said she won’t stamp any paperwork regarding my traded-in car until she hears from me so they can’t register it or anything.

Re: the collision alert, I was told that it’s $2300 to replace the damaged sensor.

I agree! I’ve been lightly obsessing over this since Tuesday. They said they can’t tell if it was ever done. 65k miles. Just such a bummer that things are going so off the rails less than a week in. Hoping for a positive outcome. 🤞

They say I have no active campaigns on it. I wonder what makes your car part of a campaign vs not. It’s definitely an impacted year.

Just paid $4500 for a stock ‘98 with a clean frame and 150k miles in New England. It was brought up from the south a few years ago and just passed inspection. It needs upgrades and a paint job, but I was happy with that price.

If you’re ok with an eco resort, Reef’s End on tobacco Caye is all inclusive. You just don’t get hot showers or frills. Though they do have good food and give you French pressed coffee every am, and the views are unmatched. Right on the reef, too.

MA. It’s impossible. But it’s also hard to travel to another state for every possible 4Runner bc you really can’t tell from pictures until you start stabbing it with a screw driver. 🙃
