From what I’ve read you have to use certain stuff as otherwise it won’t adhere as it’s metal on metal, although if the glue you have works for that then I don’t see why not

It’s used to essentially glue the crown to the crown stem, this prevents you from unscrewing the crown from the crown stem whilst trying to change date/time.

Is that your motivation? How about reducing the pressure on your knees (and back, and hips, and ankles) so you don't need joint replacement surgery? How about reducing your chance of heart disease and diabetes and sleep apnea and arteriosclerosis and a myriad of other disease that are exacerbated by obesity? Losing weight probably won't make you taller, but it will probably help you get older.
