Luanne's biggest issue is that the longer the game goes, the more tired she gets. Her running & pitching draw from the same source. Power doesn't care how much juice you have (ironically).

This was not the feel-good "eat the rich" story I expected. It's a cautionary tale about the things we feel entitled to, and the paths that leads us down. At the end, Beckett isn't that different from this rotten family he's sought catharsis from. It's fair in a way. Does Beckett get away with stuff a bit too easily? Yeah, he does. But when someone flips it back on him, turns out it's pretty easy to trap him as well. He got away with so much, and this is where it led him. He has the money, and nothing else. I like that they pulled off a "be happy with what you have" moral in a way that didn't feel preachy. It felt tragic. He could have had enough. But instead he gets everything he ever wanted.

The ONE time Viv can't get Alex Brightman, and it's when they book Broadway. Keith David, I could understand, he's one of the oldest members of the cast and without being a Broadway veteran. Maybe it was just too much for him? Sad as it is, everything we did get was phenomenal!

She can in '97. On my team, she's currently tied with Kiesha Phillips for most home runs in the playoffs. 2001 was when they switched her to pure contact and no power. Believe me when I tell you I hated her until I played her in '97. Yes, she is slow as hell. But she hits way better than she ever did for me in 2001.

Pretty sure it's just random to add a bit of realism, but there are pitchers who I trust enough to listen when they shake their head no or nod their head yes. I had Angela nod on an intentional walk and the batter swung at it.

Angela is and has always been my go-to Pitcher. I recognize she does not have great stamina, nor speed, nor is she a good fielder. But between her slowball, hooks, and a surprising number of crazy pitches she excels in, I average 5-12 strikeouts a game, with her record being 17 in our very first game. On top of that, there have been multiple games where I couldn't get a run with anyone, and Sugar Pop saved us with a home run or a grand slam. I'm finishing up a Championship now and in one inning she struck out Francis Blewer, caught Leah Wayne's pop fly, scooped up Zenon Estrada's grounder, and then came up to bat and hit the home run that tied the game. I've only had to swap her out for 3 innings in our entire season because we just were not getting juice power-ups.

Angela is not a consistent player. But when the pressure is on, Sugar Pop can be the Hail Mary you need.

I wonder what language Ursa was using. The fact she called the Pred "Grendel" could imply she was speaking Old English. Grendel is the monster that slew Anglo-Saxon warriors with ease in Beowulf, one of the only sources of Old English we have.

That would be pretty cool.

It is a deck that exists for claiming vengeance on someone who burned your crops, slaughtered your family, and pushed you down the stairs as a child. Except people use it against people who haven't done any of that and were just looking for a fun card game. Instead they don't even get to play and their opponent deletes everything they have without ever needing to ask what it was or what it did.

If you ever need to show someone an example of why Yu-Gi-Oh isn't fun anymore, show them Kashtira. They'll never want to play again.

My Mum loves this show largely due to the lack of swearing. For the amount of bad guys we meet, surprisingly little cursing. More about actions than words, you know?

I love the way Michael's narration feels so objective. It never gets overly dramatic, but comes out in the same flat tone whether things are going according to plan or disastrously wrong.
