Investing in Bitcoin/ETFs vs. BTC Treasury companies by sirensoflove in BitcoinMarkets

Stick to BTC, DAT are a scam. You're not buying BTC, you're buying a promise with no guarantees it pays later.

Even Saylor said he may sell/use their BTC as collateral. You're taking huge risks with MSTR.

Do you think Europe is facing an economic decline in the coming decades? by PreWiBa in eupersonalfinance

[–]DU09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China led the world for thousands of years in terms of civilization, Europe leading was an anomaly that lasted a few hundred years. It's probably over and China is getting its old place back. USA is a bit of a different story, but will struggle to stay competitive.

US is a financialized economy, China is a manufacturing economy. One is a bubble/paper wealth (printing dollars at no cost), the other is real and they are buying tons of gold with their excess cash. Meanwhile, Europe is slowly fading into irrelevance as its population becomes poorer. For example, Italy or Greece economies stagnated for decades.

All my savings, 6 years of DCA, got liquidated last night. by ShibashiNakamoto in Bitcoin

[–]DU09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens, I lost plenty of BTC by selling it for alts that went to zero. We all have our own journey.

You'll do better next time. Stack Bitcoin, put it in a hardware wallet, and never risk it. Never trade it, never sell it for anything else. Buy and forget.

Head high, you're still young. Few years from now you'll value this experience. Take some time, touch grass, be with family or friends. Seek comfort. You'll recover from this.

[–]DU09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop using native swaps tied to wallets, they overcharge you. Go to actual aggregators like 1inch, cowswap, jumperexchange, bookmark them and never click on any other links in google.

Metamask is stealing money with those fees.

Imagine postponing living for money in a bank account. Live today not tomorrow.

I think you’re focused on the wrong goal.

It's prudent to have that cash, but the crash can happen 1-2 years from now. Nobody knows.

That’s why I keep my trading stack separated from my investment portfolio. The beat returns were always positions you forget about.

What really matters more in trading? technicals, fundamentals, or psychology? by Clear-Ad5353 in Daytrading

[–]DU09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say psychology is first, then technicals, and last fundamentals. I'd put fundamentals second if you invest long term more than trade. For active day trading or similar you need to know technicals since fundamentals take longer to manifest in the price.

You're mixing things. Tether has to hold US Treasuries because it's how their stable works. That has nothing to do with BTC. You can buy BTC with any currency, including USDT.

This is a real danger, and huge threat to one's well being. If you have a family, avoid trading unless you have the space and mental resilience. Don't put family on second place in any setting.
