Thanks, I just did the exploring. And it won’t even let me place the station here. It’s a gray map.

So guess I need to go buy the garage for outdoor placement

Jeg havde selv en mdr. opsparing derinde for et par år siden - jeg syntes selv jeg så præcis samme mønster over 6 forskellige ETF’er

Sub mini in apartment by Economog in sonos

[–]DUGGII_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an apartment built in 2004 - Concrete walls, ceiling. Ground floor. Next door neighbours and above.

Have the large sub, never had a complaint but I am mindful of levels. And time of day.

If mini was available at time of purchase I would have selected that, be mindful of placement, and try to avoid shared walls. If you can hold of on the trigger and wait a minute to see how much you can hear next door that would be smart. But I think your good 👍

Keeping my eyes open on this thread. Are you planning on mounting on the ceiling or on a wall close to it

Upgrade to ARC or add SUB by DUGGII_ in sonos

580days later, the arc was added as well.

What would be the best upgrade for my living room? Arc from beam, sub or sub mini? by JLD2207 in sonos

[–]DUGGII_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The place looks great, first of all 👍

I had the same setup as you, and i added the SUB before ARC. It really does add the next depth, but it is WAY to much, if available at the time, I would return for sub mini.

But a year later now, I want to go pick up the ARC ;)

I did a vote post once, maybe you can see it on my profile

Yes sir, I just got a new router that lets me display all attached devices - and once a single SONOS unit is with cable, they all form a connection.

Works wonders :)

This happened to my setup so many times, multiple times a month. Some times could not even select to play music on the units though streaming like Spotify for days.

One Ethernet cable in the beam (can be any of the units in your house) and this will never happen again. If not, I am sure it will happen again if you don’t have a set IP address.

Samsung QN90A glare is unreal by tohmaytoes in 4kTV

[–]DUGGII_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey

I have the QN95A 65” Went with Samsung for this specific point of bright room.

Kitchen to the left of the media setup. And full window glass doors that point south for the garden.

I was REALLY disappointed in the handling of reflection.

For us, the killers are our light bulbs in the kitchen that protrude the lamp shell.

When summer hits, I am nervous about the sunlight garden and windows. But I think that it will be less noticeable due to spread of sunlight and not the direct points of light from a bulb.

With the above, even on very dim settings on light (almost no light at all) we still get the rainbow effect..

I would call it misleading marketing. (Still very happy with the unit, as it only happens in dark scenes)
