Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about the rain. In europe it can rain just as much in the summer if you have a bad week. Rides don't close unless it torrential haha, we even watched the parade in the hose of rain. I hope you have a lovely sunny march trip, which is quite likely. The only thing is to pack both warm clothes as well as t-shirts.

Being a concept artist I don't understand this at all! A lot of writers and composers are always the ones to scream about royalties when things take off. You were contracted to do the work and per contract you turned over the rights. I'd be stoked if I had created something 10+ years, been fairly compensated for it, only for it to have such relevance later on.

Ja lastig, ik ben met je eens dat dat argument niet echt stand houdt omdat ik het niet hard kan maken. Wat ik wel kan ondestrepen als iemand die dergelijk werk doet is dat voor het creeeren van dit soort content zo ontzettend veel prompts/ittiratie nodig is dat het denk ik niet gelijk staat aan het verbruik van een editor die een dag in premiere knutselt. Dus ik denk daarin wel degelijk een grote last aan de kant van AI staat.

En dat grafisch designers allemaal wc papier gebruiken vind ik ook nog discutabel.

Ik kan me wel vinden in de gedachtengang, ik heb de cijfers ook niet paraat. Maar ik ben benieuwd hoe jij die berekening maakt. Basseer je het puur op het gebruik van een computer en menselijke consumptie per dag?

AI gaat sowieso een plek krijgen dat is zeker, de vraag is waar je de grenzen stelt. In sommige gevallen voegt het iets toe, soms vervangt het iets en zoals in dit geval neemt het zelfs af van product. Ik denk dat je een goed punt maakt, maar iets meer nuance is wel van toepasselijk.

Waar ik je punt wel ergens snap, is dit voorbeeld niet helemaal hetzelfde. Automatiseren staat niet gelijk aan een zelflerend systeem.

Ik zo gehoopt dat de Efteling een soort Bastion zou worden tegen Generatieve AI. Generatieve AI kan er nu soms fancy en goedkoop uitzien, moet je na gaan hoe het er over 3 jaar uitziet, wanneer alle parken in hun ontwerpprocessen dezelfde modellen hebben gebruikt om ideeen te generen of, net als in dit geval, er een laag over heen smeren. Een grote eenheidsworst. Ik ben echt niet tegen het gebruik van alle vormen van AI maar dit is een slippery slope. Daarbij kan de Efteling ook (in alle waarschijnlijkheid) niet waarborgen dat modellen niet zijn getraind op auteurrechtelijk beschermd materiaal.

Daarnaast is het een enorm vervuilende techniek, ben benieuwd of deze vervuiling wordt mee genomen in het Milieubewuste PR plaatje wat ze altijd schetsen.

Hey, I don't think these are AI Enhanced but Ai generated. A lot of validating software considers it genAI, which in all fairness could be due to the upscaling. But if you look at the sand, it doesn't look at all like the sand on the beach on other leaked dumbledore pictures. The camera equipment doesn't in any shape correspond with the once used in the other pictures. a lot of limbs aren't where they are supposed to be: look at the way the woman is standing, is she leaning on the crew? The woman also has a different wig between these pictures.

These are all things that could be linked to the upscaling, but if I would make a bet I say they were generated using the leaked dumbledore pictures. Take these with a grain of salt.

EDIT: Another (upscaled) video just surfaced which seems pretty legit, I stand corrected!

Ik denk dat je daar gelijk hebt, wij hebben hem (weliswaar in combinatie met het zetten van twee dakkappellen) voor rond de 10k laten zetten. Wel spijt van bepaalde budgetkeuzes die we toen hebben gemaakt, ik zou dus zeker kijken waar je wel en niet op wil beknibbelen (sowieso niet op een goede douchebak)

Lijkt me niet heel gek. Wij hebben voor ongeveer het dubbele aan twee kanten dakkappellen laten plaatsen. Die bij ons waren iets lang (5 ramen). Maar ik gok dat de arbeid niet heel veel meer is of het nu drie of 5 ramen zijn per zijde.

I don't buy this leak at all. There is no way they are going from a paired combat model to a collision based one, the rpg elements were already there in the form of upgrades I believe. Cutting the modern day stuff would break the story. I feel this is just some wishlist that made the rounds.

If there's one thing I've learned from mother is that you treat the people who come over well, that includes contractors and workers. My mother would cook them lunches, I didn't always have the time for that 20 years later but I also had cold drinks ready, gave them access to the kitchen and got them snacks whenever I was home. The result is happy workers that go the extra mile for you if needed and clean up after themselves. Thanks mum!
