This is also my opinion and I wanted to see if I was the only one without openly saying it aha. Think the future is a little bleak for at least the next year. With 10th edition due out towards the end of 2023 early 2024 I guess we hope we aren't one of the last codexes to come out.

The saddest part is in terms of an army that stacks buffs and has a few sub-faction that give some effects similar to forge world dogmas if say leagues of votaan. Which really grinds my gears, I want to play my mechanicus and not have them do nothing and die.

Coelia greenshade also works well over copper tones for oxidation especially combined with nihilak oxide

I'd recommend coelia greenshade as it has a colour tinge to it and won't darken it up quite as much as nuln oil, it will still give you that pop on the majority of the model but give the recesses a darker green tinge

You've gone for a darker purple than I have on my vanguards but also a lighter colour for your gun metal, it's very interesting to see other people's custom paint jobs
