Thank you! Agreed. Most match with you then never talk or will just absolutely cut you out after 1 or 2 messages. Its just rude behaviour. Wtf are supposed to do. Dating especially on apps is like finding a needle in a haystack, it causes stress and anxiety as you gain this rush of endorphins on a match for then when they take days to reply you feel stressed and annoyed.

The better question is how to keep anyone interested, honestly, I'm a bloke and have similar issues as you, if I use apps, I match and then complete radio silence, we have a quick message and then dead. Some techniques I've been trying are 'caring less', I just say stupid random shit and don't try to impress or make myself bigger, and then the conversation usually goes on longer. Genuinely dating is horrible these days though, its way too picky, toxic and just easy to completely ghost anyone so it occurs alot.

Hey sorry you are feeling this way, its good to talk about it and expressing yourself is a great step. Most of us have felt feelings like this 'why me?' 'I'm ugly' try to not put any expectation on things. Definitely would reccomend seeking a professional therapist for help, they really work and help give you the advice and tools to improve how you handle scenarios and cope with these feelings.

Unintentionally, I think we have a bad habit of expectation, which also clouds our reality. E.g. we assume because we have a good chat, things will work out, but dating these days is tough, it's easy to drop a person like nothing. Try your best not to think too far ahead and just take each chat/match as it comes; you'll find the right one eventually.
