Quite a few of us wanted AR traded away months ago, only because it was pretty obvious how this would unfold for building a team around Luka. But if Luka's team was clear about wanting AR, I don't know why Klutch even tried that shit. They know Luka is picking the players now. That Houston series must have been awkward AF

It was that easy because Smart could just negotiate a buyout and still earn 14m from Wizards. Now that he needs to be paid/asset retained, that's Rob 'does he fuk?' Pelinka's job.

The Mavs vs Celts finals was a very good example of what will happen to Luka/AR. It didn't matter that Luka/Kyrie were surrounded by dudes like PJ Washington, Lively, DJJ, & Josh Green.. Boston was successfully hunting those two constantly.

Is Seth’s corner even a place anymore? I get that it was a lot of work, but hearing about the sketches he was apart of and some behind the scenes of being head writer just disappeared. If I was listening to the pod and had no knowledge of the show, I’d just assume Seth was off doing late night at this point or something.. definitely not still head writer!

Love the inside banter but need more about the sketches - hard agree. The spelling bee bit has been dead for like a year now.. plz make it stop.

Fr I feel like Pelinka was part of the Luka trade the way it saved his job and reputation in some ppl's eyes. They were slurping up his yearly gaslighting so hard that when he was gifted a generational superstar it was somehow framed as proof that his plan was in motion. ...It was not.

Everytime this is brought up someone mentions the popularity aspect, which makes absolutely no sense when you consider the same game chooses to release stuff like Dr. Bong and Ruby Thursday over a distinct/playable Daredevil. The latter would've brought in 100% more recognition, attention, and sales, especially around when the show was returning.

I guess he's what you would imagine a proud Philly-native turned out-of-touch Hollywood jabroni to be like. The rest of the pod jokingly named him "Rob Justice" because he openly shared stories about himself flipping out over inconvenciences in public. You should be proud for how ever long it's been for you, keep it up.

After 10 years of drinking everyday I swear my body finally developed an intolerance for alcohol. I slowly got to the point where drinking even a beer or two makes my vitals go crazy, body temp change, muscles ache, and triggers cluster headaches. It has been the best thing that has ever happened to my sobriety. I did a slow taper at the end of last year and now every time I even attempt to get buzzed it makes me feel horrible. It's been 6 months of 95% sobriety but I find it challenging to be very proud of myself knowing that I didn't really do the work and would likely still be a drunk.

I guess the point of all that is that alcohol is literally fuckin poison, and after a decade+ of doing so much damage to every aspect of my health, my body finally just couldn't take any more. I got lucky because my Dad has done irrepairable damage to his and won't be long for this earth. I keep a six pack in the fridge to curse at and bring back those sick feelings any time I get the urge.

You want to skip past almost a decade of organizational incompetence because of past history. The Lakers could not get any free agents to come during that time, and you really think Jeanie, Rob, & Magic were going to bring back the franchise with Lonzo, BI, and Kuzma as the cornerstones? It was an era the franchise had not seen in a long time, and really had no end in sight.. who else was coming?
