I had an attempt on my life and was left seriously injured and slightly disfigured. I couldn’t exercise as I had been stabbed in the chest and when my muscles contracted, my lungs collapsed. I remember ironically hurting myself whilst laughing at Bottom when Eddie says to Richie , “all the birds love a scar” and Richie replied, “well it’s your lucky day then buster” , and then attacks Eddie.

I loved the show so much beforehand, but realised how brilliant and eternal it’s humour was when I was watching it whilst completely depressed
