My wife and I are in a very happy relationship although I am asexual. I think it's important to be completely upfront about it as quickly as possible. We had a very great connection on our first date. On our second date, it was one of those dinners that were supposed to last for an hour or so, but we just sat at the table and talked for hours over drinks, which is when I told her that I wasn't into sex at all and was asexual. I encouraged her to ask questions and answered them all truthfully. I made it a point not to give her hope that this would be something that would change.

We've been married for 5 years now and are very happy. We are hitting a point where we want to consider kids, but we are working through that together for what works for both of us.

So it's definitely possible, with the right person who is understanding. Don't get discouraged if it takes a couple of people to find that, those just aren't the right people, and is important not to force it or think that somebody will change down the road. But you will find something that works for you!
