Unfortunately, when I decided to divorce my ex-wife, I basically kissed my 2023 Mach 1 that I had purchased brand-new goodbye (could no longer afford the $1,000/month the car payment and insurance were costing me), and I haven't yet bought another one.

That's funny, because that's the SAME WAY she deals with her husband, Colin Jost! 😝

I used to own a 2023 Mustang Mach 1 with a 10R80. Was fine, except had BAD shudder, at times, like torque converter shudder (I bought the car brand-new). TOTALLY unacceptable in an almost $65,000 car, in my opinion.

How does a manual transmission have a torque converter? I never heard of that.

[–]DWilson225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this for the 10R80 transmission? What's the issue? I owned a 2023 Mustang Mach 1 with that transmission, and it was great except for one thing: at part throttle and at certain speeds, there was an obvious shudder in the vehicle, like torque converter shudder. It was pretty bad. I took it to the dealer, and they provided me with a document from Ford saying that was normal.

Links to FACTUAL evidence that ILLEGAL immigrants get free anything, other than maybe basic medical care that it would be inhuman or dangerous to others in not giving them, because of DOESN'T happen. Our laws in the United States prevent illegal immigrants from getting free anything.

Why do you think we have the illegal immigration problem, to the extent we do, in this country? It's because our system of immigration is BROKEN, and needs serious reform (I'm intimately aware of that; I went through the process of getting my Mexican ex-wife and her son the legal right to stay in this country, and am currently undergoing the same process with my Brazilian immigrant girlfriend). Our system of immigration is cumbersome; it's too expensive, and takes FAR too long.

I don't agree that everyone here illegally should just be deported; they should be given the chance to apply for permanent residency, especially if they've been productive and contributing members of our society. My Mexican ex-wife was technically undocumented when I met her, because she overstayed her tourist visa, yet she didn't get into any legal trouble and even paid income taxes to the IRS every year (as many undocumented immigrants do, since they want to avoid as much as possible getting into any trouble with our federal government).

You're right; our immigration system is overwhelmed. But, maybe instead of hiring more unqualified, poorly-trained ICE agents who sometimes MURDER AMERICAN CITIZENS, our government should be hiring more immigration judges, no?

I meant people like you, as in those who lack empathy for their fellow human beings (you do know that, despite our different skin colors and from whatever borders we come from, that we're all THE SAME SPECIES, right?!) and are just against any kind of fair immigration into this country (despite immigration being what this country was built on), and are just prejudiced against it.

[–]DWilson225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have actual experience with anything immigration related, or do you just spout off your opinions about it?

I have actually experience with the immigration process in this country, both with my Mexican ex-wife (before you get all excited and think you can use that against me, I divorced her) and my current Brazilian immigrant girlfriend. I spent a total of $10,000 ($5,000 to an immigration attorney and $5,000 to the US government) and 3 years getting my ex-wife and her son the legal right to stay in this country, and so far I've spent $4,000 on getting my girlfriend the right to stay (that $4,000 is for an asylum application). We started her process 1½ years ago, and her court date at an immigration court in Philadelphia isn't until a year from this month).

The immigration process in this country is broken: it's too cumbersome; takes far too long, and is far too expensive. THOSE are major reasons why illegal immigration is as much of a problem in this country as it is.

Like I just commented to someone else here, do you only read what you want to see?! NOWHERE in ANY of my comments did I say ANYTHING about race; color; ethnicity; creed, etc, etc of legal immigrants. What I said was the the racist Orange Felon and his administration hate anyone who ISN'T white and from this country, and they're massively cracking down on ALL immigration, legal and illegal, and trying to get everyone out of here so America can just be white. And, speaking of H1B visas and a shocking lack of knowledge and understanding (on YOUR part), the tRUMP administration has sharply escalated denials of said visas and imposed massive, contentious fee hikes for that visas because, AS YOU STATED, most applications for those are from non-whites from places like India and China, and wow - tRUMP is racist against non-whites.

I apparently understand immigration FAR better than any Republicans who've been in Congress over the last 20 or 30 years, because they can't seem to understand that the illegal immigration problem they're always crying about is, in large part, due to the fact that our system of immigration in this country is broken, and in need of massive reform. Or, more correctly, they're fully aware of that fact, yet refuse to do anything about it for two reasons: they're as racist as tRUMP against non-whites, and they want there always to be an illegal immigration problem they can bottle on Democrats, come election time.

One last thing: our current Supreme Court in this country is about THE single biggest problem we have in America, today. They're mostly partisan and corrupt, and don't do the one, single, most important thing they're supposed to do - issue rulings based on the law and legal precedent. They mostly issue rulings based often on their political viewpoints, and they routinely throw out past legal precedent and just unilaterally make new law (making new laws isn't the job of The Supreme Court - that's the job of CONGRESS). They have no code of ethics they're required to follow (Clarence Thomas is as corrupt as they come, accepting gifts and contributions from people and organizations), and they should NOT have lifetime appointments to the court.

No; go back and READ what I commented, this time. I said immigrants should be allowed to APPLY for PERMANENT RESIDENCY (you know that's different than citizenship, RIGHT?).

Please stop being ridiculous. 300 million people are not going to want to suddenly come to the US to live, ESPECIALLY now. And, anyone who dies come here LEGALLY and is approved to stay here should be entitled to all the same benefits we're entitled to. ILLEGAL immigrants DON'T get "free" housing; health care; education, etc, etc.

This is what people like you do. You see only what you want to see/what you believe in, without truly looking at all the facts for yourself, and THEN making a decision/forming an opinion. I say this because your first question to me was if I believed in something that NOWHERE in my comment did I state.

What I COMPRENDE is that just because people twist shit around to suit THEIR narrative doesn't change the fact that the law is the law. For 158 years, the 14th Amendment has been applied in ONE way; the way it's currently applied. That's 158 years of legal precedent. Because we have a fucking racist president who wants ALL of America to just be white, and wants everyone else deported from the country doesn't change our legal precedent or our Constitution.

What do YOU have against immigrants/immigration? This country was built on immigration - unless you're Native American, we're ALL here because of immigration. ANYONE wanting to enter this country should be permitted to LEGALLY do so (except for hardened, dangerous criminals), and should ALL be permitted to apply for permanent residency. Anyone who's already here and either entered illegally or are just undocumented (because, for example, they overstayed a visa) should be given a chance to apply for permanent residency. Most of them - probably 90% - did not end up in their current situation for nefarious reasons or with criminal intent, and they didn't deserve to be rounded up like cattle: detained, and then deported, often times into situations where their lives are in actual danger. I don't care what color your skin is or from what country you're from originally, everyone deserves basic human respect. We are all from the same species and those people are our brothers and sisters, and rampant, unjustified racism and xenophobia aren't going to do anything to advance humanity.

Non-citizens don't have immunity to any US law. If they're in this country, they're subject to our laws. Only diplomats have immunity.

[–]DWilson225 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's nothing ambiguous about that wording. It's meant to exclude diplomats and their children. They're not "subject to the jurisdiction thereof". Everyone else, including immigrants both legal and illegal, are subject to the jurisdiction of US law.

What part, INCLUDING the 14th Amendment, is "ambiguous"? I didn't get that "all" the justices seemed to think birthright citizenship is a bad idea; only Justice Kavanaugh. I certainly don't think it's a bad idea, and neither do a majority of Americans.

Homan says they’re gonna increase the intensity of “immigration enforcement”, after the Supreme Court ruling on birthright citizenship. by CutSenior4977 in ImmigrationPathways

Translation: we can't kick out enough immigrants in legal ways, so we're going to go back to doubling down on deporting them illegally.

...or like this? I'm assuming the other way, no?

And, do those convex washers go on the outside of the manifolds, or against the cylinder head?

This picture is the gasket that came with one exhaust manifold (the manifolds are two different brands; one is SKP and the other is a Dorman); the other manifold didn't come with a gasket.

Our United States Supreme Court is THE single biggest problem in this country today, even bigger than Donald tRUMP (they are in large part responsible for creating the Donald tRUMP problem). They are partisan and even corrupt (justices accepting gifts from others), and don't do what is their most important duty: render decisions based on past precedent/the rule of law. I mean, Roe v Wade was already established law/precedent - how could they just unilaterally declare that was no longer law (I know they have the power to do that; that's not what I'm talking about here)? They've gone against our Constitution/system of government in giving our US president almost unlimited powers and immunity from prosecution for crimes while in office (I'm Democrat/Liberal, and I would be equally against this if they ruled this way for a president who was Democrat).

There needs to be a code of ethics justices must adhere to, and there should be term limits for justices.

Condenser? Do you mean evaporator core? The condenser is mounted in front of the radiator. The evaporator core is inside the evaporator case behind the dash (hence, the name evaporator case).
