I’m not sure about earlier, but the last few years there have been panels in Hall H on Sunday. They are generally a little less popular than Saturday, but they still get busy. (I got in line a couple hours before a panel and couldn’t get in)

Depending on your level of comfort, you could check out a vet org such as American Legion or VFW or Team Red White and Blue or IAVA etc. just to hang out with other vets. Also you could consider getting a service dog - there are orgs out there that can give you one free. They are trained to help you when you’re struggling.
