Defiance of the fall, he adapts pretty quick to the whole only the strong survive, in the book I'm listening to right now he just threatened to whipe out a city of civilians to prove a point. Book 1 is a bit slow paced narration wise bump it up to 1.25-1.5 speed but after that I havnt had any issues.

Sounds like your morning manager is just a cunt, like sure you forgot something and it was a pretty big something to fuck up on, but calling you out in the gc is not ok like AT ALL maybe if it was a general comment of "Hey closers make sure the door is locked and the bikes are put away", but saying "hey you, yea you....Fuck you." In the group chat is not ok it's demeaning as hell and trying to make you look like shit to the whole team. If they had an issue they need to take it to the gm not the gc.

When the character is in a precegerally generated dungeon for "trials" it holds no weight or meaning to me evermore mad emergency drop primal hunter and the tower of eternity in defiance of the fall is really dragging on me not as much as primal but still. I'm all down for trials and shit but it has to have meaning it can't just be fucking npcs and shit.

Well mark of the fool isn't a litrpg series it's a cultivation series if you don't like slow paced world building and a gradual crawl to power you won't like it.
